The air hung heavy with the electric tension of the rising storm. Everything was at a standstill, the silence was stifling. They all felt it. The quiet hum of your power as you waited at the tree line. They were here to destroy you, put an end to your so called 'reign of terror'. The general watched you with narrowed eyes, at least he wasn't so cowardly as to hide behind his soldiers. But you could feel his fear radiating off him, off of all the soldiers. You did not judge them for this, you were a legendary force, with horrific power at your beck and call. You raised your chin, the tension mounted, the wind rose, and the world held it's breath. The general gave a shout and his army lurched forward. You whispered one word, break. The sky broke open and sheets of rain lashed the earth, battering the soldiers senseless, lightning flashed and thunder rumbled ominously. The earth shuddered and a force broke from you, ripping the ground up and scattering soldiers, snaking through their defences. The archers couldn't see to shoot, and the Calvary was in a tumult, the horses spooked by the storm. Fear and hopelessness was felt in the heart of every soldier. You surveyed the chaos and felt nothing. You knew you could wreak havoc far worse than this, you were an Aurinne after all.
It stormed for three days straight, buildings were torn apart, whole trees were ripped from the earth, every water source had flooded it's banks, along with all low ground. When it was finally over and people began to venture out and rebuild, what few men hadn't been apart of the forces, were sent out to see what had become of the king's army. When they got to the field, everyone was shocked. There were deep ruts in the ground and bodies strewn everywhere, waterlogged, mutilated and desecrated. You never had any more problems out of the king after that.
