It frowns as it stays knelt next to her body. Amber eyes once like the inviting flicker of flames to the twin windows of a house in the middle of a cold winter's night now abandoned. There will be no more days spent singing, cleaning and dancing carelessly around the base. There will be no more sweltering heat from the stove as they fight over space in order to prepare large meals. There will be no more playful arguments over which decorations should go where during celebrations and milestones.
Zetsu will never get to carry her back to her room after she's had too many drinks during the impromptu poker nights. Never another meeting of the minds as they collaborate on how to keep team morale boosted and stable. No more late nights of whispered gossip and other members' secrets.
The flower in her hair is removed and the tangles of lavender are gently brushed out with its fingers. He takes her cloak, her ring, and her piercings before he draws the curtains of eyelashes that hid the flames on her house of memories.
As per protocol, her body and chakra are stored within the maw of its monstrous form. A meal it tries to savor yet the timing feels too wrong. Like soup on a hot summer's day, or buying a snowcone from a vendor while moving through a hailstorm.
It's not right.
Just like how the origami figure of a dilapidated angel sits next to a perfectly pristine rose made of old, lilac paper on Zetsu's shelf.

when i say i wanna be cremated i don't mean by making me into one of lilia's dishes, what i wanna be is a human soup. so either boil me in a hot tub or cremate me in water.
because either way i wanna taste good so add some pork, potatoes and veggies, let me give back to the world, solve world hunger.

Crow would not be okay, like, crying and sobbing. Would not be shocked if she crippled the killer. Or attempted to murder them.
Send me how your character would react to my characters death.
Will they honour my muses last words? Are they crying, angry? Or trying to comfort my muse?
Aw man and Roy would have so many conflicted feels about that wherever he ends up after death. On one hand it’s always nice to be missed, but he doesn’t want anyone crossing their personal lines for him either.
