Okay doing another poll because I still can’t sleep and I’m SO bored

In Death Note 13: How to Read, there is a section of Ryuk’s human observation journal listing each of Mello’s wins and losses throughout the series. Here, Ryuk states that “He (Mello) let Soichiro live. That grey hair’s just too cute…”. Is Soichiro’s hair being cute an opinion belonging to Mello or Ryuk??

The fact that they didn't keep the Death Note timeline equal between the manga and the anime is the bane of my fanfiction existence -.-;; ............. (ie, Mello was born in 1992 in the anime, but in 1989 in the manga, etc...)
