So I love fanfic where James brings regulus to the light side, but I’m a sucker for a Regulus who corrupts James into the dark side. Like it’s the perfect plot for angst/no happy ending and them dying in the end together and happily in love (or rather derangedly in love) gimme a dark jegulus where the saying ‘the road to hell is paved with good intentions’ and this deeply dark and twisted love of jegulus being so completely ironclad no one can stop it and everyone is scared (be it death eaters or Sirius and Remus) because jegulus is obsessed with each other and no one tops it. Regulus’ top person is James and James’ top person is Regulus. But also give me a James who hides this for a longtime and manipulates those around him for his own entertainment because who would suspect our resident sunshine boy. Let regulus think he manipulated James into this but in actuality James knew from the get go regulus was trying to manipulate him and he went along with it because he’s obsessed. Let Voldemort be low key terrified of them because he knows if he hurts either one the other is gonna completely end him, horcruxes or no horcruxes. Let Dumbledore try to use this to his advantage and for James and regulus to destroy him slowly starting with his reputation. Let Sirius, after a long battle with himself on whether he try and save jegulus or stop them finally decide to flee with remus. Give me dark lords!jegulus idk I just think this has so much potential
