Something I was thinking 'bout today - reactions to an s/o telling them that they're gonna be a father for Blinky, Draal, and Angor?

HELL yea get ready for at least one of these to be a lil sad,,,,,,

Trollhunters

Blinky is ecstatic! After getting past the initial shock (and complete curiosity if the s/o is a human [ignoring basic biology]), he gets so excited! He babbles on about it forever. Everyone in Trollmarket knows within a day. Buys so many baby books early on.

Draal is... kinda numb to the idea at first. He’s not /upset/, just surprised. He’s also worried he’ll end up like his father. But, he promises to do better. Gets severely protective of you after you tell him. He doesn’t want you to be alone- especially considering your association with him/the Trollhunter.

Angor Rot is also numb to the news, but for a severely different reason. Considering his situation, he most likely... /can’t/ be a father. It’d end in an argument. He can’t have a child- do you know what could happen to it? To you? If Strickler, or any of Angor’s other enemies catches wind, you could be dead in an instant- or held for ransom. He’s done so much to keep just you out of sight from others. His position is too dangerous to consider a family. He might even try to disappear from your life. Considering his profession, it wouldn’t be that hard- he’d just watch from the sidelines, to keep you safe. If he did end up warming up to the idea, somehow, he’d be even more protective than Draal. Not even Gunmar himself would be able to lay a hand on you.

who is more likely to hurt the other?-Scott’s just a fuck-up by nature so he’d probably be more likely to say something insensitive on accident.who is emotionally stronger?-Scott’s more emotional as a person, but he’s also better at setting his emotions aside when he absolutely needs to. who is physically stronger?-Scott again. He’s been training longer and has that constant “I’m not strong enough. I can’t fail people” paranoia so he’s always working to get stronger.who is more likely to break a bone? -Also him because he tries to be careful but if the only solution to keep someone safe is hurting himself, he’s gonna do it without hesitation. who knows best what to say to upset the other? -Finally that’s Hikari(I’m considering renaming her but that’s her name for now). Scott says shitty stuff on accident but when it comes to being mean on purpose, she knows how to. Though she probably doesn’t do this to him often. She just is real good at picking out insecurities. who is most likely to apologise first after an argument? -Scott. He doesn’t like to let stuff fester and she’d a pro at the cold shoulder. If it’s something small he’ll apologize without much of a fight. If it’s something bigger he won’t rest until it’s sorted out. If he thinks he’s right, he’ll still try to explain himself and apologize for upsetting her. He’s a good boy ;v;who treats who’s wounds more often? -They’re both pretty equally quick to scold the other for being reckless and patch them up. Scott’s hurt more often which is the only reason Hikari patches him up more.who is in constant need of comfort? -Scott is made of anxiety and insecurity so... He probably wins this one. Hikari also has her insecurities, but Scott’s overthinking his way more often.who gets more jealous? -That’s a tough one. Scott’s more likely to get annoyed at seeing someone else flirt with Hikari but she’s more likely to worry that she’ll never measure up to his first love....who’s most likely to walk out on the other? -Hikari can try but Scott’s not gonna let her. who will propose? -Scott will after planning it for so long and she’s starting to think he’s never going to.who has the most difficult parents?-Well Scott’s are dead so Hikari wins by default? Unless you count the canon where his dad’s a space pirate... Then I guess he would win?who initiates hand-holding when they’re out in public? -Scott crave that affection. That’s hard.who boasts about the other more? -Scott. He always thinks his girlfriend wonderful and amazing but he tries to be subtle about it. I think she’s more openly emotional but she knows how to handle strong feelings better than poor, soft-hearted Ratchet who spends all his energy trying to cover up that he has affection at allwho is physically stronger? - Ratchet fo showho is more likely to break a bone?  - I hope neither!!
