When someone takes a genuine interest and want to know more about the affects of our illness, it is like wow, someone really cares and wants to learn more . We do have to juggle our lives and sometimes we indulge in an activity to feel normal - it doesn’t mean we’re better, it means we have simply saved spoons for an occasion (like Attie’s Baptism) just to do something most able bodied people take for granted . Yes you may have seen me take the girls to school, sadly it doesn’t mean I’m better; you don’t then see me rest in bed for the rest of the day so I can pick them up again .
