oh so many ways, i’ve seen the spec ranging from him helping land the plane to showing to to bobby and buck or at the tarmac but if im throwing caution to the wind and ignoring logic i think it would be incredible if there was some way to parallel the bathena reveal scene with a kiss amongst the emergency but instead of in secret even if it was still next to an engine to be in the open and like a really swoonworthy rom com moment, an emergency version of like a rushing to the airport grand gesture, like i just think buck or tommy rushing to one another and then do a big hug and kiss like the hospital kiss scene but in front of firefighters cause i think that could be really beautiful to have especially because it’s been a point in the show of tommy acknowledging how it can be scary to be openly queer in many careers especially firefighting and like having tommy on the first day try to comfort buck by pointing out it’s normal and okay to be two men having dinner, to have it be normalised for two masc queer men and firefighters to be gentle and sweet and intimate
