at college for my second day and nobody has asked my pronouns. everyone is either guessing or using my name exclusively and tbh I kind of love it

I don't use they/them bc I'm attached to the words, I use that set because it's the closest to the nonexistent term for my particular in-between state. letting people just Figure It Out fascinates me and I think I'm just going to continue letting people call me whatever they feel like calling me

I know I don't, ultimately, want long hair. it's too feminine coded and while frankly i don't expect society to recognize my identity or start asking everyone their pronouns (sigh), so I make due, I want to be hard to gender straight on site, i want some people to read me male at least sOMETIMES, but I wouldn't want consistently/only male readings either. sigh.

and long hair would not help this problem, also it's soooo much maintenance and hair is one of the few things i'm vain about, with my short hair it's easier to keep it looking fabulous and thus at least that part of my self esteem okay.

and plus i'd have to grow it through the awkward length stage and. no.

basically: why aren't I an online avatar so I can change my hair length every other day.
