In a lengthy blog post that appears to have been crafted by a lawyer, Twitch's CEO Emmett Shear issued a statement clarifying the role of their Safety Advisory Council and defended newly appointed member FerociouslySteph.
She believes “a lot of gamers are white supremacists.” She threatens to target them with her ‘power’. What’s she going to do, gore them with her imaginary antlers? The insanity of social justice puts these mentally ill people in charge of gatekeeping our hobbies. Well, fuck them. We need to exclude the lunatics, and form our own spaces.
