We toured the Defense Distributed headquarters in Austin, TX and interviewed Cody Wilson, the founder of the organization who has pioneered "private defense" tech development. DD is an open-source hardware organization that become famous for its digital firearm schematics, as well as 3D printing and CNC milling applications with regards to freedom tech.

oh, this massively simplifies what I was aiming for with the Utopian goggles. Instead of having to hack together a stereo video pass-through system, and build my own VR headset, or break a stereo video pipeline down into two mono video pipelines, I can simply build NVGs.

Having this tech stack makes the "look through the eyes of the fursuit" project so much easier.
