It really grinds my gears that corporations like Walmart and Target and Starbucks are saying all this stuff about how they support Black Lives Matter and that they stand against racism and that they will support black people and non black people of color...
while funding the police!!!!!
All of the footage from the recent protests -as well as the fact that black people have BEEN saying that the police is hurting us and our communities- shows that these two ideas are at odds with each other and at this point...I would rather companies do the work or shut the fuck up because I do not need more half-assed instagram posts
