Hello! I only just heard of this myself but I really love MatPat’s (and other affected creators’) stuff and this is pretty upsetting. It’s a long video but well worth it. Not that it’ll be happy but...damn.

This is horrible. The DEFYmedia MCM has stolen from the Youtubers that trusted them. It's an unfair system, and an unfair situation for these content creators to be put in.

In November 2018, Defy Media shut down without any notice. They laid off their workers without warning and have held ransom the money earned

This is just messed up. I didn't know this whole Defy thing was this bad.
