Hm I've been thinking more on the progression of Yves' serum treatments. Like, did he easily agree to use the muzzle, or did he have a conflict of pride, struggling to give in to something so traditionally dehumanizing (not that he's a 'human' but shh) to save his dignity? And did the methods of doing this switch through masters to fit their preferences, or did Yves keep it consistent? I was thinking about Samuel specifically but I figure any master could change things up, for better or worse.
Here’s one bit of lore- He used to have to *drink* the stuff, which made the pain of it taking effect last so much longer than having it injected straight into the bloodstream.
Methods for dealing with the side effects have varied depending on masters and what they asked Yves to try or were willing to face themselves.
As for the muzzle... and the restraints.. I might have to write another blurb...
Maybe it’s just me letting my brain run wild at 12am - but I’m starting to think no one treating me like a real living person in my formative years and onwards really took a toll on me :)
