THOUGHTS ON THE EXISTENCE OF A SUPERNAL DEITY OR SOURCE

The way I see it regarding the likelihood or not of a Director sort of deity:

1) like being like an amoral (not immoral nor moral) scientist, slightly insane (  ;) ) and also behaving either chaotically or with the sole intent of Evolution and Progress.

2) not omnipotent, not omniscient, not omnipresent. However extremely powerful and extremely wise and Intelligent, capable of many things we may consider impossible to our present state.

3) neither benevolent nor malevolent, more like a LHP greater daemon.

4) partaking in the affairs of this universe, because: a) if totally external to this universe, the deity is unknowable thus it doesn't concern us as we have zero evidence about it. b) if totally internal to this universe, it's more like an Alien Intelligence of an extraterrestrial, or an entity bound on Earth and not truly a deity. c) so it has to be able to be both inside and outside, much like SET.

5) ordinary humans (IF they ever managed to know of this deity) would probably view him/her /it as a psychotic alien bastard, not giving much of a damn about us.

Now I'll go one step further; let's suppose that out of the billions of ME's (ego) and I's (being), something coalesces over unimaginable stretches of time. A Multiplicity (like, "we are LEGION"), a collective mind or even a Hive Mind. That would certainly fulfill the above criteria. It would be able to find the Co-Locality Point within Itself, thus becoming a true God. Folding time would be easy at that stage, and the Multiplicity would be able to re-seed itself back in time in selected individuals, arming them with the "KNOW THYSELF" paradigm. This paradigm would be further developed with each individual engaging in self-awareness and eventual Awakening, thus creating a mighty surge of the Inner Self to deification. Each illuminated Self would be an "I" without a "me", and could function as another deity. Eventually some of the deities produced (from the awakened individuals) could even agglutinate to form multiplicities, mirroring the initial experiment.

So when viewed thus, the entire Deific topic could be simply us, seeding ourselves back in time in order to develop other aspects/ areas of the multiverse. Parallel dimensions also employed in this for greater variance, and the collective experience harvested by the Hive Mind from all its billions of cognitive tendrils.

So a benevolent, omnipotent and omniscient God? Nope. S/he/it is not Benevolent, at least in the way that humans understand benevolence. Omnipotent? nope, because omnipotence hasn't been evidenced to exist, even in philosophical circles; it remains but a noble theory, and full of conflicts. Omniscient? If that's the case, this deity is more like a super-villain lunatic, with only one thing in mind: evolution and progress.
