“The First Rule of Book Club” (T, 28k) by Deisderium

The first man to participate in Janelle's book club is a very shy long-haired guy who's probably a vet, given the prosthetic arm. She really wants the book club ladies to be his friend, and is delighted when he invites his tall blond--friend? Boyfriend? to come to book club too.

Bucky can't explain to anyone how strange it is to wake up in Wakanda with five years gone in a blink, in a second. The last thing he remembers was trying to get to Steve, and then General Okoye is telling them—because it's not just Bucky, it's so many people—that five years have passed and the rest of the world went on without them.

He should be used to it, he supposes, but he had really thought that he was done sliding through time, finished missing years. He had promised himself—had promised Steve—after that last time in Wakanda to get rid of the trigger words that it would be the last time, that he wouldn't leave like that again. He had thought it was a promise he could keep.

In which Steve and Bucky return the Infinity Stones, and return to a world drastically changed from the one Bucky left five years ago, and Bucky has to struggle with the knowledge that his best friend held Mjölnir, and at least briefly had the power of a god. So where does that leave an ex-brainwashed assassin?

He's dated Omegas all his life, but what he secretly wants is to be bonded to an Alpha, even though he's sure Alphas would never be attracted to a Beta like him.

Annoyed at his self-perception, his best friend and Alpha Peggy Carter, takes him to an Alpha bar in an attempt to prove him wrong. When one of the patrons goes into an accidental rut, Steve is the only one who can step up to help.

Bucky is definitely an Alpha, definitely in rut, and definitely the most gorgeous man that Steve has ever seen. Steve knows that taking him home to keep him safe might be risky, but he doesn't expect to go into a sympathetic heat from the Alpha's pheromones. Nor can he possibly expect the bond mark that he wakes up with in the morning...

Bucky keeps his body language open and non-threatening, and raises his chin to bare his throat. He fights himself all the way.

“Howitzer” (E, 111k) by spacebuck

Bucky Barnes, figure skating champion, is forced to switch his skates for hockey ones when he leaves for college. Problem is, he's never played hockey before, and now he has to be good enough to get the scholarship he needs. Enter Steve Rogers, Carter University Men's Hockey player, who's decided that he'd do anything to get this guy on his team.

Cue five am runs, overwhelming classes, new friends, plenty of snow, and a sport that's fast becoming a way of life.

This is true no matter what game he's playing. It's true during basketball season, it's true in singles tennis, and it is certainly fucking true when it's time for summer dodgeball.

He's here for his teammates, for his family and for the guys back home. He's here to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience: the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Nothing more. Too bad life rarely gives you what you want—or actually expect.

right off the bat this meme is more challneging than expected... hmm idk that i have a favorite scene. hmm hmm i like the scene i wrote for ithlyn bucky’s spaceship dream, but i cant remember if i wrote it in december 2017 or jan 2018

Sunbeams is my oft-spoken of and rarely worked on World War Threesome modern AU. There’s not a lot to it yet, outside of an outline and a general plot thread that I’ll be following, but it’s one of my favorite ideas and one I’m excited to (hopefully) write next year.

Priest Steve is my novel, inspired by an idea from @chemegeek that was originally going to be a Stucky AU but has now morphed into something else entirely. I have not, however, changed the title of the folder. Should probably do that at some point.
