John de Lancie and Brent Spiner - Star Trek: The Next Generation (1990)
i like in Deja Q when Q is trying to explain his situation and he keeps staring at Deanna like he's expecting her to help him out and she just makes fun of him instead
i feel like we as a community don't dwell on the fact that data drinks lube often enough. does he take it like a shooter for maximum efficiency? does he mix it into a silly cocktail with a little umbrella and sip it with a straw to be social? i think about it constantly
sweet dreams are made of this...WAKE UP, Q
These aren't my colors
Human Q is my favorite Q to draw. He's so miserable
I know there was a serious situation in Deja Q going on but watching Q be a pathetic miserable little man was so funny after all the shit he's pulled. nice to see him humbled.
also that moment where Q tells Data hes a better human than him is genuinely sweet
I don't want to give Roddenberry too much credit because he was definitely an asshole, probably a rapist, and certainly claimed a lot of credit for other people's ideas; but I do need to give him some credit, because apparently the original concept for "Deja Q", the episode where Q becomes mortal, was for him to be faking and for it all to be a sort of hijinks; and it was Roddenberry who put his foot down and said "Okay, but wouldn't it be way more interesting if you told an actual story about a god who was forced to live as a human being?" And yeah; it was.
Anyway, I think SNW could have benefited from this kind of energy this season.
I’M ALIVE! I PROMISE!!
! It’s been a while but here’s a little comic of a minor scene from the next chapter of my fic Deja Q - Squared. I’m hoping to have the next chapter up sometime in the next few days, I have it all written up and I’m just editing now so look out for that!! <3
