Dear Dekigusu, today my soul is broken into a thousand pieces. You decided that it was time to say goodbye. I write these words to you in tears. Your absence hurts me, I look towards your park/house, and you are no longer there. I miss your jumps, your cuí cuí at mealtime, your sweet face, your joy, your love when I was sad. I miss petting you, especially under the chin. I miss your presence in my life. I carry you so much inside that it is as if a piece of my own body had been torn from me. It seems like yesterday that we decided to get you out of that hellish place you were in, almost malnourished, and give you a chance. And you, always without wanting it, gave me the opportunity. You taught me that you have to live in the present moment. Because everything happens fast, because life is full of unique moments. You gave me strength when I lacked it, and joy on my sad days. I know you're in a great place, along with Wipo, Yaiko, Momoi, and other guinea pigs. I know you take care of me, the same way you did when you were with me.
