Instant Pot mashed potatoes are quick and easy to make, and they taste great.
Ingredients: 5 large potatoes, peeled and cubed. 1 cup water. 1/2 cup milk. 4 tablespoons unsalted butter. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Put the potatoes into the Instant Pot after peeling and cutting them into cubes. Fill the Instant Pot with one cup of water. Close the lid and turn the valve so that it seals. Set the timer for 8 minutes on high pressure. Do a quick release after the cooking cycle is over. Get rid of any extra water in the Instant Pot. Put butter and milk into the potatoes. With a potato masher, mash the potatoes until they are smooth and creamy. Add pepper and salt to taste. Enjoy while hot!
