okay well i used to have a clear retainer after i got my braces, but i lost like 3 of those by setting them on my lunch tray and accidentally throwing them away, after i lost the last one, it was a while before i got a new one so my teeth were all crooked so i had to get a wire one to straighten them again and the first day i wore it to school my friend offered me a muffin in first hour and i took it and i had to take my retainer out, so i set it in the little shelf thing under my desk and i kinda forgot it there, then at lunch i went to take it out and realized it wasnt there and i ahd to walk back to the classroom and a clas was going on and they were all like looking a my retainer freaking out and ugh it was so embarresing i never wore that retainer to school again
