You know, I wonder if the Man saying

Means that while we, as the Player, remember all the Egg Encounters (I mean obviously, we are talking about them right now…) maybe while we remember him, Kris forgets. The events are wiped from their memory as soon as they exit the room.

That must be so weird from their perspective, right? The Amoral Time Demon who has taken over their body suddenly starts arbitrarily rapidly moving back and forth between two areas with no rhyme or reason (or in the case of Chapter 3, doing a bunch of weirdass strange esoteric puzzles) and then, as far as they can tell, an Egg just suddenly shows up in their pocket.

Must be the weirdest fucking thing we do from their perspective.
