Can you do powers for a prince of mind?

Prince of Mind is a destroyer of thoughts, choices, and rationality. Dirk destroyed Heart, Eridan destroyed Hope and with Hope all at once in a 2 x Destroyer combo. Kurloz debatably destroyed Meulin’s ability to be true to herself. Kurloz did destroy any resistance in Meulin.

Right off the bat I’m going to give you what is probably the most common mind player power, aka mind control. The ultimate destruction of choice. Real plain and simple. 

 Psychic weaponry is also right up a Prince of Mind’s alley. The could manifest weapons from pure thought or emit wave/bolts of psychic energy. It would depend on their ability to think through the weapons and mental fortitude. It could also be a liability as any damage to the weapon might directly affect their mental state depending on how the ability manifests. They might only be able to summon one weapon that directly mirrors their mental state. Or this is no cap on the kind of weapons they summon, constantly changing as they do. 

Electricity has been associated with Heart and Mind so the ability to generate literal Brainstorms or fling lightning bolts would work too.

could i request cute things a prince of light or maid of hope would do?

Prince of Light:

The Prince of Light does have a lot of candles everywhere in their room, but they never light them. If you ask why, they’ll give you a variety of reasons - lighting candles makes them look ugly, they don’t want to start a house fire - but really it’s because they keep forgetting to get matches for them.

The Prince is also into cryptids, but doesn’t actually believe in them so much as they like putting bigfoot and mothman stickers all over their stuff. They also once created a quiz that determines what cryptid you are. Yes, they made everyone take the quiz and the Prince themself got the Jersey Devil.

The Prince of Light also is really into the color gold, but wants to be subtle about it. They try to incorporate it into any makeup they wear, use metallic gold pens, and tries to accent their decor with the metal. Once, one of the Prince’s friends painted their nails gold and they were ECSTATIC. 

Maid of Hope:

Uses a ton of smiley emojis/emoticons at a time. Doesn’t just go, “haha love it! :)” they have to incorporate at least 5 smiley faces at once to show exactly how much they actually love it, which is a LOT.

The Maid of Hope has tons and tons of post-it notes that they use to remind themselves of their goals. And by “goals” I mean brushing their teeth and not to annoy people through over-encouragement. They’re the kind of people who are a bit of a mess but love cleaning up other people’s messes more than their own.

I like to also imagine that they really like smelling nice, and have tons of light body mists that give them an airy aroma. Nothing too musky or thick. They also love spraying people with scents the Maid thinks fit them.

Why do you say Hope is the strongest Aspect? I could see other aspects being able to beat it quite easily. Say Light the more you innately know the less belief there is. A good light player could potentialy trick a hope player into not believing in them selves eradicating ALL OF THERE POWER.

You are thinking about this totally the wrong way. That is to say, you are thinking about this the way any sensible, reasonable, well-adjusted person should think about it.

Hope is not a sensible, reasonable, or well-adjusted aspect.

For a normal person, believing something is based on evidence. You see the evidence, you come to the conclusion. For example, “Ah, that chair over there is blue! I know this, because I can see it. With my eyes.” If it turns out the evidence was faulty, or that evidence goes away, so does the belief. “Oh! I thought the chair was blue, but you turned the lights off and now it looks white. It must have been a blue light. My mistake!” A Light player (or hell! even Void or Mind players!) could handle that easy and take them out just as you described.

Hope does not work like that. Hope works the exact fucking opposite of that. Hope takes the end goal first and then finds evidence for it. Hope decides the chair is fucking yellow and will pull out six different degrees in batshit to prove their point.

Which is a fucking. bitch. to try to fight against. 

Ever argued with a little kid who wants their own way? Ever argue with someone who insists that they’re the reincarnation of Jesus? A cultist or a racist or a narcissist or hell, literally anyone who refuses to see reason? You can’t win arguments with Hope players, because Hope players are off their collective rocker and we will. not. budge. 

Hope players will read A Series of Unfortunate Events and be certain of an upcoming happy ending. Hope players will look at the fact that Homestuck is over and still expect Nepeta to come back. Hope players can watch the seconds tick down until certain death and know that they’ll be all right, without reason, without evidence, not because it’s sensible but because it’s us. 

If you actually believe something, it doesn’t feel like belief. It just feels like that’s how the world is. You believe the sky is blue. You believe you’re a human being. You believe you have certain limitations and that things are the way they are for whatever reason. A Hope player is powerful because they see a completely different world that relates in absolutely no goddamn way to ours, and they can have a million different people telling them they’re wrong for a million different reasons, but they’ll drag their version of reality into ours and plant over the top through nothing but force of will. 

There’s only one truth. But there are an infinite number of ways to be wrong, so god dammit a Hope player’s gonna compile every fucking one of them into a single cardboard tube and thwap you over the head until you admit they’re right.

It doesn’t matter if they actually are right. What matters is they won’t stop thwapping until you admit it. Until reality itself fucking admits it.

I hope you never actually have to go up against a Hope Player. We are terrifying and cannot be stopped. God would not have mercy on your soul, for there would be no God outside of the one the Hope player fucking decided for you. We are the strongest aspect.

Why not hijack someone elses session instead of doing the dirty work yourself.This gauntlet can rain supreme destruction on everything.Immediately get rid of it, it’s way too dangerous even if you know the dangers. No seriously, lock it away in the deepest depths of a planet, throw it into the sun or a black hole, you don’t wan this sticking around.

This revolver is made from a strange black metal with vibrant green lightning bolts etched around the barrel.  When you open the cylinder you see that the chambers are unusually shaped.  It has 6 chambers, each filled with a different kind of battery. Each corresponds to a different pattern of attack. They range from a strong joy buzzer to a full-on lightning bolt. You have no control over which shot it will use and it changes after every use.
