The greatest mental distress I have just about 24/7 is how I actually have a fictional crush on Laios Touden.
I hate it so much I want to beat him till he’s purple guy.

I really don’t see fellow aspecs come to the defense of demisexual and demiromantic people enough. more often than not I see them contribute to their ostracization. A lot of the time I see non-demi aspecs hop on the “but is demisexuality/demiromanticism real?” train of thought and it’s harmful. I have lost count of how many ace and aro people I have come across who were unsupportive of demisexual or demiromantic individuals. I shouldn’t have to ask y’all to care about or respect someone in your community. Just because you are aspec that doesn’t mean you understand or have to understand other aspec orientations. You can just respect people and move on.
The Demisexual Flag
—Or simply “the demi-ace flag”
Definition: A person who only experiences sexual attraction after they have a deep emotional connection with someone.
The deep emotional connection may be platonic, romantic, or otherwise (more on other types of attraction later). Although demisexual people do feel sexual attraction, it is rare enough to still be on the ace-spec.
“But isn’t that just everyone?”
Not exactly. It may take years with a person before a demisexual individual feels any sexual attraction at all.
“So demisexual people are attracted to all their friends?”
Not usually. It simply means that they need a deeper emotional connection before the possibility of them feeling sexual attraction to a person is present.
