I’m really sick of people referring to me as straight or talking to me/about me as if I was after I’ve come out to them. I know a lot of people don’t think my sexuality is ‘real’ or they don’t even know what it is and its tiring. I don’t even consider myself closeted but I don’t bother telling most people cause they literally either don’t get it, don’t believe me or continue to see me as het anyways. I am not sexually attracted to men. I am not sexually attracted to women. I do not care what gender someone is, it will not affect how ‘attracted’ to them I am. Yes I have had sexual partners, yes I have never been in a relationship with a woman and yes I have a sex drive but none of these things make me straight and I should not have to justify why these things don’t make me straight. I don’t care that you don’t understand what its like to not be sexually attracted to people based solely on their gender and looks, just fucking respect that its my reality.
