Summary: you are dared to spend the night in the resident haunted house, but will you make it through the night.....
**hii!! Just my little contribution to Halloween and all things spooky and spicy 😏😏😏 I know it's late but I've been under the weather, and work is stupid!! Lol anyhoo.....
"Your really gonna do it?" You heard nat ask bedside you, staring up at the house "yup..you don't get dared by Tony and NOT do it." You said laughing "besides, other then some dry rot what do I have to worry about?" You asked, the last part sounding shakeir then you wanted. "Oh I don't know...the demon that lives there!" Nat yelled waving at the house "seriously? I thought you had a brain." You said opening the gate grabbing your duffel bag "I do...I just know there's something off about this place." She said staring at it. "Alright, well go say four hail Mary's for me and I'll see you in the morning." You said closing the gate. " good luck y/n." She said turning to leave.
You turned around looking up at the house, Time had not been kind to it. The paint had completely peeled off leaving the wood exposed, the eaves hung from the broken windows. "Good thing I brought my sleeping bag." You said to yourself walking up to the doors. Pushing them open the loud creak echoed through the house, leafs on the floor scattering as the winds rushed in behind you. Quickly closing the doors you pulled your flashlight out and began looking around.
You walked into what looked like the living room, years of dust caked onto every surface, rips in the upholstery of the sofas and chairs. Your eyebrows furrowed when your light landed on a large wing back chair next to a large fireplace. Walking closer you noticed it was a deep forest green, not even a hint of dust on it. You set your bag in the chair, kneeling down you grabbed a few pieces of wood from the holder and arranged them in the fireplace. You looked down seeing a box of matches and some kindling and after a few failed attempts you had a roaring fire.
You got up, brushing the dirt off your pants looking around the room, seeing a large bookcase along the wall you walked over, seeing dust caked onto several of them when you came to a section that looked recently used. "What the.." you trailed off, hearing creaking coming from upstairs. "There had better not be a homeless person here." You said to yourself grabbing your flashlight. You crept towards the stairs, shining your light up into the dark when you heard heavy footsteps cross the floor. You froze in place, light shining onto the upstairs landing waiting when the footsteps suddenly stopped. "H..hello.." you called put into the darkness.
You took a deep breath, grabbing the railing you slowly walked up the steps, freezing when you landed one that creaked loudly. You felt your heart began to race as you made it to the top of the stairs, shining your light down the Long hallway. "A..anyone there?" You called out again only hearing silence. You crept down the hall, every step the wood groaned under your feet. You shined your light along the wall, seeing several picture frames hanging all covered in dust. You came up to a round shaped one, wiping it off you saw a black and white photo of two men standing side by side, one light haired the other dark. You leaned forward trying to get a better look when a door down the hall slammed shut making you jump. "Holy what the fuck!" You yelled falling in your backside. You shined your light frantically down the hall but didn't see anything.
"Im gonna have a heart attack before this is over." You sighed standing up. You slowly walked down the hall, approaching the one door that was closed. You took a deep breath grabbing the knob "ok...don't die." You said to yourself as you slowly opened the door. "Hello...is anyone here?" You called out shining your light into the room noticing a gaping hole in the wall, the wind blowing in sending a chill through you. "Well, that explains that." You sighed looking around. Other then the hole the room was pristine. The bed made and draped in dark green gossamer curtains, black curtains hung from the broken windows. Walking over to the nightstand you saw a picture of an elegant looking woman In a long flowing dress, and not am inch of dust on anything.
"OK, I'm hallucinating." You said looking around one more time before heading back into the hallway, stepping out you closed the door behind you so it wouldn't slam again. You slowly walked back to the stairs, shining your light back down the hall feeling like someone was watching you but were only met with shadows. You went back downstairs, walking into the living room you saw your bag and it's contents on the floor, your nightgown draped along the chair. "What the.." you trailed off hearing a low groan echo through the house. "Fuck this.." you said heading to the door you grabbed the knob pulling as hard as you could but it wouldn't budge. "Shit!" You yelled kicking the door when it dawned on you....this was all Tony, it had to be.
"Anthony Stark! You come out here right now! I know your messing with me to win our little bet!" You yelled shining your light through the house. "Well you aren't going to scare me asshole!" You yelled, being met with silence. "Freaking jerk." You muttered. Walking back to the living room you picked up you sleeping bag rolling it out on the couch. Looking around you grabbed your nightgown off the chair, sitting down you pulled your shoes off setting them by the fireplace. "You better not be peeping at me Tony!" You yelled pulling your jacket off draping it on the back of the chair. You quickly pulled your shirt off slipping the nightgown over your head, removing your bra from under the gown to shield yourself in case Tony was roaming around.
You stood up, sliding your jeans down folding them and setting them next to your shirt. You leaned down, stoking the fire adding another piece of wood before laying down on the couch zipping yourself in your bag. You sighed, feeling your muscles relax as you stretched out. You turned to your side, looking into the fire you closed your eyes, hoping the night would go fast....you woke a few hours later shivering. You opened your eyes seeing the fire had died down and your sleeping bag was...open? You shot up looking around rubbing your eyes, you knew you zipped yourself in...right?
You shook your head, getting up you stoked the fire again, adding a couple more logs when it roared to life making you jolt back, landing on your backside. "That's gonna leave a mark." You sighed, getting up Walking back to the couch you slumped down rubbing your temples. You laid back down, zipping your bag back up when you heard the heavy footsteps upstairs again, stomping across the floor. "Tony! Stop that and let me sleep!" You yelled burrowing down in your bag when you heard laughing at the top of the stairs. "Dude...I swear!" You yelled starting to get up when the scent of leather hit your senses making you freeze. Your head spinning to the stairs hearing someone walking down them. "Tony is that you?" You called out, leaning down to grab your flashlight falling to the floor.
"Dammit.." you hissed rubbing your elbow. "Such language from such a pretty mouth." A deep voice purred making you freeze. "I can think of much better uses for those pretty lips of yours." It said again. You slowly reached out, wrapping your fingers around your flashlight, whipping around you shined it at the floor as you scooted back, seeing a pair of dark leather boots, moving the light up you were met with a tall figure, wrapped in green and black leather sitting down in the green chair, your light hitting his chest you saw his long dark hair offsetting his pale skin, his green eyes piercing into you. "Y..you...your in the picture...." you mumbled remembering the pictures in the hallway. "Ah yes, that was many years ago, my brother and i." He said crossing his legs.
"What..why..are you.." you mumbled, your mind running a mile a minute when he held his hand up. "Let's get some light in here shall we?" He asked waving a hand in the air a dim light illuminated the room. "Please, sit. I will explain what is going to happen." He said waving to the couch. You got up, not taking your eyes off of him as you lowered yourself to the couch. "First, my name is Loki and yes, technically I am dead, but...I made a deal with some unsavory demons and now.." he said holding out his arms. "A..are you a..." you started "a demon? Well...I suppose you could say that." He smiled wickedly at you. "Your friend...Anthony was it?" He said rubbing his chin "came here to...make a deal with me." He said tapping his foot.
You stared into his eyes fidgeting with your nightgown "what does that have to do with me?" You asked "Well my dear, everything. You see, I have finally decided to take a wife, and in return for what Anthony wanted, he offered...you." he smiled again crossing his arms. "W..wait..what?" You asked standing up, him standing as well, slowly crossing the room "you are to be my bride y/n, we will be together for all eternity." He said stalking closer. "N..no, i.." you trailed off feeling his hand on your cheek, his cold skin making you shiver. "The deal has been made, you are mine." He purred. You slapped his away backing up. "No! I refuse!" You yelled running towards the door trying to pull on it again "you can try to run..I do enjoy a chase." He purred behind you.
You took off down the hall trying to find a back door or broken window. "I can make you very happy y/n." You heard echo around you, running to the kitchen you saw a door, trying to pull it open it wouldn't budge. "Come now y/n..." you heard, turning to see the man standing in the doorway. You ran, ducking under his arms you made it back to the hallway taking off again. Remembering the hole in the wall you ran upstairs, tripping scraping your knee "fuck!" You yelled "there's that mouth again, I may need to punish you pet." You heard, seeing him standing at the bottom of the stairs. You stumbled to your feet, feeling blood trickle down your leg as you rounded the top running for the bedroom, throwing the door open you felt the cool night air hit your face. "Oh pet...I wouldn't if I were you." You heard behind you.
You slammed the door shut, shoving a chair against it you turned slamming into a wall of leather, looking up meeting those green eyes as his arms wrapped around you "your going to hurt yourself pet." He purred. You shoved off him, running towards the hole, looking down you felt dizzy. "Y/n..." you heard him say sternly. You turned meeting his gaze "You cannot have me." You said, closing your eyes you fell back, bracing for an impact with the hard ground when your back met a soft surface. You opened your eyes, seeing the green curtains hanging around the bed. "Welcome back pet." You heard as you shot up seeing the man sat in a chair by the door. "But i..." You trailed off. "Jumped? Yes you did." He said waving to the hole. You slowly got up making your way over. Looking down you saw yourself, your leg at an odd angle, a puddle of red around your head.
"I..im..." you stuttered "yes darling, you are. And now we can be together...forever." He purred into your ear, pressing his chest to your back. He turned you to him, placing a hand on your hip, the other on your cheek "you will learn to love me." He smiled, leaning down he pressed a chaste kiss to your lips. Maybe he was right, maybe you would learn to love him, you had eternity to find out......

summary: holding the title for the most doted on Avenger, the rest of the team begins to worry when you start to display uncharacteristic behavior. You brush off their concern, assuring them that everything is fine. You have it under control, but how can you control the voice inside your head when it doesn’t belong to you?
~
“…and…there’s the heartbeat,” Dr. Cho said, falling quiet so that you could hear.
Despite the numerous tests you’d forced them to do over and over, and despite how much you denied any possibility, the ugly truth was finally too obvious to deny. You were pregnant. The evidence, pounding in your ears like a drum, was too hard to ignore. With shaky hands, you pulled her own, and the device, away from your stomach.
“We need to get you on some prenatal vitamins,” she started. “…as well as figure out what caused your vomit to take on such a dark color and strange substance.”
You knew why. Finally accepting that all of these dreams had not been dreams at all, you longed to tell her the truth. Tell her everything so that something could be done about it. Could something be done about him? You’d never been a particularly religious person, but perhaps this called for more spiritual methods.
However, when you opened your mouth to finally tell her everything, you found that you couldn’t speak. The words were on the tip of your tongue, but no matter how hard you tried, they wouldn’t come out. Dr. Cho turned away to look at some reports, oblivious to your internal struggle, and your heart raced as a fog briefly fell over your mind. You shook your head, blinking, and when you opened your eyes, Dr. Cho was at your side again, cleaning you up.
“Well, you are free to go for now,” she said, helping you up. “…but you’ll have to come back tomorrow and the next day as well.”
Nat hadn’t told her what you’d said, Dr. Cho none the wiser to your strange situation, so she was treating this like any other pregnancy. You bid her goodbye, unsurprised to find Peter waiting outside of the infirmary door. His eyes were wide with worry, and he seemed hesitant to approach you.
“So…you’re okay then?”
You swallowed, unsure of what to say before eventually shaking your head. He frowned as you walked past him, and he hurried to catch up to you.
“Y/N?”
Your mind spun as you fought to settle on something to say, ignoring Peter as he called you again. He grabbed you as you reached your bedroom door, spinning you around to face him. His brows were furrowed, dark eyes searching yours.
“Y/N, what’s wrong?”
Your lips parted.
“Dr. Cho is still running tests, but she assured me that I’m going to be fine.”
You frowned as soon as the words left your mouth. You hadn’t said that. Well, you had, but you hadn’t meant to. They were in your voice as they had come from your mouth, but…it felt like you hadn’t said them. Peter frowned a bit at this, but eventually nodded.
He went to pull you into a hug, but something forced you to step away. His frown deepened at that, and so did yours, but Peter seemed to brush it off. He simply settled for rubbing your arm.
“You should get some rest then. I’ll come by to check on you later?”
You nodded, and he threw you a small smile before leaving. You stood there for a moment, wondering what was happening before eventually stepping into your room. You were barely past the doorway when it slammed shut behind you, and you weren’t all that surprised to find him there when you looked up.
He was at the window, gazing out onto the grounds, hands folded behind his back. His dark hair curled behind his ears, lithe form adorned in green attire this time, and you swallowed, balling your hands into fists. You couldn’t make out your emotions, discern them from one another, and that scared you.
This…thing had violated you. He’d taken advantage of you during what you thought were dreams. Even now, you could still feel his lips on yours, feel him hard and pulsing inside of you. You hated him, were terrified of him, and yet…something turned in your stomach at the sight of him, and it wasn’t disgust. Even though you could always feel his presence, it felt like you hadn’t seen him in so long, and the sight of him evoked something in you that you did not want to name.
“You’re real.”
He didn’t respond, merely tilting his head to the side as he listened.
“I wasn’t sure before…but I am now…”
He turned to face you, the green of his eyes the brightest you’d ever seen them.
“The marks I leave on your supple flesh weren’t enough? The feel of my touch on your skin? Or was it the confirmation of my seed growing in your womb that did it?”
You took a step back with every step he took, lips curling at the mention of your condition. You had never given much thought to children of your own. You enjoyed kids, but you were unsure if it was enough to have any yourself. Now, not only had that choice been ripped away from you so violently, but there was no telling what was growing inside of you.
“You raped me,” you spat.
His lips curved upwards.
“You seemed to enjoy yourself well enough,” he remarked.
He caught your hand as you swung it towards his face, yanking you closer. Your eyes widened as you stumbled against his chest, heat curling around your form at his close proximity. He raked his eyes over you, the light leaving them now as they grew darker.
“Do you have any idea how long I’ve watched over you?”
Your brows furrowed at this, and you tugged against him, but his hold was firm.
“…how long I’ve waited for this? How many times I had to watch as you were touched by another? One who had no right to do so?”
Your struggle increased, chest heaving as your mind whirled with every word that left his lips.
“Did you never wonder why your abilities miraculously manifested? Hmm? Seemingly from nowhere?”
You froze, lips parting as you processed exactly what he was implying.
“19 years of your life…a regular girl like any other…and on your 20th birthday, you can suddenly see better, hear better…you’re stronger…”
Your feet tripped over one another as he forced you backwards.
“Of course, that was never my intention, but ingesting the blood of a demon does have its side effects,” he purred.
“You…”
“I had to make sure you were strong enough. After all, not just anyone can bear the child of a being like me and live to tell the tale,” he whispered, forcing your back against the wall now. “No. Unlike many of my brothers and sisters, I intend to keep you.”
You gasped into his mouth as he pressed it against yours, tongue slipping past your lips. Your brain felt scrambled, confusion filling you as your body warred with itself. This was wrong, on so many levels, and yet heat curled deep in your stomach. Your mind recalled the last time he had his hands on you, the pleasure that had wracked your frame, and your core clenched at the thought.
He chuckled as if he could read your mind, and you froze. Your emotions felt too intense…too much…like they weren’t just your own, and you remembered the comforting feel of his presence. Always around you…in you…
We are bonded…you and I…
The voice was his, but his lips hadn’t moved, and his smirk grew as your heart sank.
“I am inside of you in every way I possibly can be…”
He hummed, lips trailing to your neck.
“Well…almost every way,” he murmured.
You pushed against him, but your hands hit nothing but air, and you stared at the empty space before you in alarm. You weren’t fooled though. Even if you couldn’t feel him, you knew he was there. You took a shaky step forward and yelped when your lightbulb shattered, bathing your room in darkness. You turned just as the sheets on your bed hit the floor, bathroom door slamming shut shortly after.
You felt fingers ghost over your waist and then your arm and finally your cheek. A shudder traveled down your spine as his voice danced around you.
“When the time comes, I shall come for you…and I expect you to follow…”
Your window slid open, a breeze flowing into the room, and you shut your eyes.
“…I have ways to make you comply.”
His voice was fading, but you heard his words nonetheless, and fear struck you as you recalled the memory of Peter collapsing to the ground.
It didn’t take you long at all to realize what he had meant with those parting words. Every night he was in your dreams, forcing you to wake up drenched in sweat and fading bruises and craving a touch that had been long gone. Your fatigue had gradually faded, but a lot of good that did you when you were no longer allowed on missions.
Against your own wishes, Dr. Cho was forced to inform Tony and Steve of your condition. You understood why, but that didn’t mean you had to like it. The reveal was met with a lot of questions that you couldn’t answer. Literally. Every time you tried to open your mouth to tell them the truth, something in you prevented you from doing so, and you knew that ‘something’ had dark hair and green eyes.
Peter was the first person you’d taken the liberty of telling the news to, not wanting him to hear it from anyone else, and it was also the day that the severity of those parting words finally hit you. You recalled the way Peter’s eyes had widened, a twinge of something in them that you couldn’t name. He didn’t press you when you couldn’t give him the answers he wanted, and for that you were grateful, but surprise did fill you when he pulled you into his arms, vowing to remain by yours and the baby’s side in whatever way you wanted.
Filled with awe, you had thanked him as he pulled away, nearing the fridge to get you something to eat. Your cravings didn’t consist of things like pickles or ice cream, but instead rare meat…occasionally raw when no one else was looking. You didn’t question it. You did have the spawn of a demon growing inside of you after all.
While Peter’s back was turned, against your will, you’d watched as your hand slid towards the knife on the counter. Unable to stop yourself, you watched the way your hand closed around it, body moving of its own accord as you rose from the stool, nearing him with the knife raised. Your entire body shook as you fought against the unseen force that was moving you, tears in your eyes and lips trembling.
“Please…stop,” you were finally able to force out, and the knife clattered to the ground just before Peter turned.
You sharply exhaled, chest heaving as Peter frowned at you. He looked from you to the knife on the floor and back, confusion swirling in his gaze.
“Y/N? Are you okay?”
The knowledge that…that thing wasn’t just inside of you but could also possess you made you want to be ill, and it was then that you realized…you truly had no choice in the matter. Whatever he wanted, you would have to give him.
“I think I need to lie down,” you shakily told Peter, and his frown deepened, sensing that you weren’t being truthful, but he nodded, nonetheless.
You felt his eyes on you as you exited the kitchen, and you finally let the tears fall. You bit your lip as you shut your room door behind you, unsurprised by the soft touch on your back as you laid down. His voice was gentle in your ear, shushing you and cooing at you. Your lashes fluttered, eyes rolling as fingers ghosted between your legs, a stab of pleasure making your gut clench.
You rolled over to your back, and although you couldn’t see him, you knew he was there. Soft lips brushed over your own, back arching as something swirled inside the walls of your core. You could feel something traveling through your veins, starting at your heart, and overtaking you like a web.
When the time comes, I will come for you…
“…and I will follow,” you murmured, eyes fluttering closed.
The weeks that followed were spent in a haze. You knew why, knew that your body was overtaken by a foreign presence, but you couldn’t fight it…even if you wanted to. You felt like you were on the outside looking in during the day, eating and going through the motions on autopilot. At night, your body was your own again, arching and shuddering as sharp teeth and an even sharper tongue ran over your skin.
Your throat was always sore in the morning, courtesy of the moans and whimpers that escaped it night after night. Only a few weeks had gone by when you woke up one morning to find a sizeable bump in your stomach, the swell startling you. You had hesitantly placed your hand to the skin, eyes widening when you felt a kick.
You felt familiar hands slide over your shoulder, resting there as they massaged the skin, and you gazed into the mirror. He towered over you, eyes as black as his hair, and when your gaze connected with your own, you found that your eyes were no different. A fond smile was on his face, and you felt the hold he had over you grow tighter.
He bent down to press his lips into your hair, breathing you in.
“It’s time.”
His voice swirled around you like the wind, and with a blink, he was gone. You watched in the mirror as the bathroom door swung open and, in a trance, you exited. Your bedroom door was slowly sliding open as neared it, and your feet seemed to know where to go, pulling you through the compound. The alarm sounded as you exited into the cool early morning air, but you paid it no mind.
It was still dark out, the sun still yet to rise. The wind heavily whipped past you as your feet carried you onto the grass. You could faintly hear voices behind you, the sound growing closer, but your attention was far too focused on the figure in the distance.
He raised his hand towards you, but a familiar voice gave you pause. You looked over your shoulder to find Peter in the doorway of the compound, eyes wide and filled with worry as they flickered between you and the dark-haired man who’d haunted you for months. You blinked at him, the fog clearing just long enough for a sob to escape your throat.
“Peter…help-.”
You choked on your own words as your lashes fluttered, that familiar presence slinking around your neck like a noose. Peter’s eyes widened even more, more familiar faces joining him now just as a hand slid around the front of your throat, the other finding a home on your waist. Soft lips brushed along your cheek, wind whipping around you almost painfully now.
Peter was the first to run after you, words on his lips that you couldn’t hear, and his worried face was the last thing you saw before the world around you began to spin, darkness bleeding into your vision until it was all you could see.
You gasped as your eyes flew open, body shooting upright on whatever surface you found yourself on. Your eyes were wide, gaze unsure as you glanced around, mind whirling as you fought to remember…anything. There was a soft crackle to your left, and you only just noticed the low light that filled the room, courtesy of the fire.
The place was unfamiliar to you, and fear seized you as you wondered where you were and how you got here. You realized that you were on a bed, a very big one, and you hesitantly moved towards the edge. It was safe to say that you were no longer in the compound. It was only when the door flew open then everything come rushing back.
“You,” you breathed, voice shaky.
“Tis I,” he mockingly replied, and your eyes watered.
You flexed your hands, body finally feeling like your own again, and you glared at him.
“You were in my head for weeks,” you spat. “You completely-.”
“Took control? Did what needed to be done to get you here? Yes,” he hissed, walking about the room.
You kept your eyes on him at all times, curiosity filling you at this.
“You are in my dimension, now, far away from your little ‘Avengers’,” he slyly added, running his hand along the bedding.
You swallowed, feeling helpless as you stood alone with this entity who’d already proven that he could do anything he wanted to you without so much as a fight on your part. The white shirt he sported now hung off of him with three buttons undone, baring a shoulder as it grazed his arm, dark hair kissing his eyes and cheekbones.
“So is that my purpose then? To give birth to spawns of a creature like yourself?”
He sharply looked at you from beneath his lashes, lips pressed together, and in the blink of an eye, he was in front of you. You stumbled back with wide eyes, and he tilted his head to the side, staring you down.
“It was…in the beginning, but seeing as the others like me have been spreading their seed throughout your world for years, filling the earth with our kind, I saw no need for that.”
You froze at his words, staring at him in horror.
“When the time comes where I shall lead us to take over your world, I will need a queen at my side…won’t I?”
He touched your stomach, and you jumped away from him. Dread filled your stomach, and you turned to throw the door open, sprinting out of the room. The hallway was long and only lit with torches on the wall. The air was cold, making you shiver, but you paid it no mind as you ran to the left.
“I had hoped we’d both realized the position you are in, but it appears that hope was in vain…”
His voice echoed off of the walls, and when you glanced over your shoulder, he was walking as calmly towards you as ever. Your feet carried you down a set of stairs, and when you turned climb down the next set, he was there on the landing. You almost ran into him, but his arms shot out to steady you.
You fought in his hold to no avail, and you cried out when your back met the railing of the staircase. He pressed himself against you, a small smirk on his lips as he leaned in.
“We’ll truly see how successful I am if you survive the birth of our child, but seeing as it is flourishing rather nicely within you, I am confident enough to truly enjoy you now,” he purred, pressing his lips to yours.
He groaned into your mouth, tearing at your clothes despite your own efforts against him. An inhuman growl escaped him at the sight of your swollen stomach, bare before him, and you shuddered as he reached down to trail his fingers over the stretched skin before moving his hand to his pants.
His teeth grazed your neck and collarbone as he released himself. He wrapped both of his arms around you, holding you to him as he spun, and you gasped when your back met a soft surface, the scenery different and familiar. The fire crackling to your left told you that you were back in that first room, your pause to gather yourself giving him time to thrust into you to the hilt.
For the first time, it didn’t feel like a dream as he took you, and you fought to wrap your head around this new lucid reality as he began to slide his length in and out of you. He feverishly kissed you, seemingly a man starved, and you felt your head spinning. Your hands were pinned beside your head, so much of your movements restricted, and against your will, you felt yourself grow slick around him.
“Yes,” he hissed. “You will come to welcome the pleasure I bring you. I am sure of it.”
You opened your mouth to argue against him, but he shifted, hitting a spot inside of you that had your back arching, a yelp leaving your lips. You pushed against his hands, but they only tightened, making you wince.
“My dear, Y/N, you are truly mine now…,” he groaned, curving his hips into yours, and your breath hitched. “…and soon you will bear my name and my mark. Forever.”

Summary: Eating cookies and whip cream -NOT- off each other
Pairing: Demon Lord! Loki x Reader
Notes: I’ve been struggling with this story. Like I have the outline and everything but… I feel just a little lost with where I am going. So I may take a small break. Idk. I think it’s more I want it to be funnier but I don’t think it is. Then again I’m reading it over several times.
Or it’s just me

Loki sat up looking around the bedroom, curled up in a soft blanket and cuddled up with a stuffed pig. His new friend. His pig was getting more action with him than his secretaries at the moment. He had been here more in the past few days than his own bedroom really.
Maybe he was acquiring a taste for cotton over silk.
Getting up he noticed the fluffy pink robe laying on the floor. Picking it up he gracefully wrapped it over his body. Sadly there were no slippers. It did, much to his delight, have a hood with bunny ears.
“Well don’t you look adorable” the lady of cotton said looking up as Loki walked into the living room. She was scrolling on her phone as the tv played. A plate of cookies and can of whipped cream on the table in front of her. Loki just nodded, pulling the hood over making the bunny ears flop in front of his face.
“I felt like I needed some sugar this morning,” she said, noticing him looking at her place of sugar. “If you want some you will have to risk Mr Mewoly”
“For those cookies, I will take the risk.” Loki’s pink ears bounced as he made his way to the kitchen. A pot of coffee sat on the counter as well. Opening the cabinet where he remembered seeing Yue pull out a mug he was greeted by a line of cream cups all etched with dark lettering “Coffee, Hot chocolate, Tea” as well as some bowls that said soup pasta, and cereal.
Pulling out an appropriate Coffee mug and helping himself to come coffee before risking his life grabbing a few cookies from the demonic cat’s body. Was it just him or did it’s eyes look even eviler than he remembered? Maybe he should get one of those, to guard his office when he isn't around.
“I like your informinate dishware” Loki said, flopping onto the couch next to Yue who smiled at him.
“It’s so I don’t forget.” she said as Loki grabbed her feet draping them over his lap before,“By the way, these cookies are amazing. Totally worth the risk.”
Loki nodded as he added a healthy amount of whip cream to his cookie before taking a bite, “Jeff, my assistant, got them for me.”
“Oh fancy you have an assistant.”
“That I do.” Loki said, taking another bite of his cookie. His free hand gently stroked her ankle as he studied the TV. The two twins were battling some crazy puppets or something. He wasn’t totally paying attention, still waking up.
“So your assistant’s name is Jeff huh. Do you also have a name?” Yue asked. Loki paused licking sweet cream from his lips as she flashed him a cheeky grin, “See what I did there, smooth.”
He couldn’t help but chuckle, She was as cute as her choice of robes and dishware, “Very” taking the last bite of his cookie he savored the taste for a moment before speaking again, “Loki… and you?”
“Loki?” she let out a light laugh “what are you some norweedic god or something? Did you parents hate you? Like Thor I could see but… Loki? Wasn’t he like… the bad guy”
“Not bad necessarily… more like... smarter than everyone else.”
“Still, Loki? Why not just say Hades, at least that bitch was loyal.”
“Laugh it up, what’s your name?”
“Yue”
He tried, but really he didn’t have much to say to that, “it fits you.” he said nodding. It did. It fit her like everything else in this apartment. It was just so… her.
“So…” she said settling back into her couch of comfort, “Please don’t take this the wrong way but, I like this…. thing we have going.”
“Speaking of loyalty.” Loki said, raising an eyebrow, “I don’t really do relationships… I mean this has been fun, don’t get me wrong but, I’m not about to feed you some pomegranate seeds or whatever.”
“No, that’s what I mean. I like THIS” she motioned between the two of them,
“No strings attached. Feeling like we don’t own anything to the other person.”
“Well in that case I’m all for this thing we have.”
“So you’ll keep stopping by?”
“I’m only a text away.”
Nodding Yue pulled out her phone handing it to him, “I’m here for texting. I like to do things with my friends.”
“Never want to get in the middle of that.” Loki said taking the phone entering his number, “I can always meet after if you're down.”
“Deal”
Her hand was still out so Loki took it and shook. Making it officially official. His slender fingers wrapping around her own.
It felt like the beginning of something. But the fact was it kind of was.
The beginning of nothing.

“So you guys basically shook on being hook up buddies?” Sammie asked as she took a cookie from the plate that was on the table.
“I think it’s cute” Riley said, “did you get him some snacks or are we special?”
“Well he actually got us those cookies,” Yue nodded down the now demolished plate of cookies. She had brought over to Sammie’s apartment for movie time, she would say night but it was more early evening. They were watching clueless with a bowl of carrots. And cookies because Yue refused to spend the whole night eating only healthy food even if it was for the memes.
“He’s hot AND he gets your amazing sweets!?!” Riley moaned, “Are we sure this guy isn’t fake?”
“Like what?” Sammie shickred, “Is he a cardboard cutout?”
“Yes, he’s just got a cutout of Brendon Urie and I have been carrying him around pretending it’s my side piece.”
“I like how this cardboard cutout isn’t even your boyfriend. He’s a side piece which means you can sleep with other cardboard cutouts.” Sammie picked at the hole in her sock that had been slowly growing since the movie started.
“I have Paul Rudd bringing me cake for lunch and Frank Sinatra delivering pizza for dinner.”
“Living the dream” Riley chuckled, “Oh I have an idea! After this movie let’s find you something to help him eat your cookie” holding up the image of a local sex shop on her google maps. “They close late like a good sex shop too.”
“Really Riley?” Sammie said looking up at the shop skeptically. “We have like 6 other movies planned.”
“We could always watch them after. Go on a quick adventure.”
“Adventure!” Yue giggled, “Come on Sammie maybe we can find you something tasteful for your presentation on Monday.”
“Yes I’m sure the Magic Cherry will have JUST what I need to help me pitch my website design on Monday.”
“Something Leather maybe? I’m sure the party planning company will be super into it.”
“Yue’s right, after all they ARE all about partying.”
Sammie fought back a smile as she tossed Yue a hoodie. “Let’s just get there before they close. I don’t want to be those jerks who are there when the workers want to leave.”
Yue nodded following her friends out bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet. Feeling giddy with excitement. “This is the craziest thing I have ever done.”
------------------------
“It was the craziest thing I have ever done”
“That’s where you have been? Doing the craziest thing ever?” Jeff asked as he came up behind Loki holding his black umbrella. Loki surveyed the dark road as they both slowly walked under the large red bridge.
“Yep we watched this show called Gravity Falls.”
“What?”
“It’s a popular children’s cartoon.”
“A children’s show?”
“We ate cookies with whip cream.”
“Off each other?”
“Out of bowls,” Loki pulled out a pair of white rubber gloves from his pocket, putting them on.
“Oh, did you… was she young?”
“For human standards no, you know I don’t mess with anyone who is not within reason.”
“Cookies for breakfast is the craziest thing you have ever done? Really?” Jeff sighed, closing the umbrella shaking it. Most of the rain had slowed at this point and from where they were standing it wasn’t really doing much good anyway.
Loki chuckled slowly crouching down. Holding out his hand he waited for Jeff to hand him his cane. Which he did. “I wore a fluffy pink robe with bunny ears.”
“I guess it’s important to have new experiences.” his assistant sniffed looking around tugging his coat closer to himself.
Loki nodded using the sharp end of his cane to poke at something.
A dead body. Half its face already decaying in the muddy ground, eyes missing. Around it several others. All their eyes missing bits of their body decaying.
“You sent these vampires out only two days ago.” Jeff, “You think it’s the faceless?”
“Stay in packs and if anyone knows anything to come to me right away.” Loki turned surveying the site that lay before them. He had sent for the vampires from Seattle to go down to LA to check on Brandon after the LA demon hadn’t shown up for their meeting. While not unusual it hadn’t sat right with Loki.
Now with almost ten vampires laying here dead and the rest missing he was starting to worry. If someone had overthrown Brandon they would normally approach Loki. New terf lords would want to make a truce with the most powerful Demon Lord on this continent.
No news, in this case, meant nothing good.

“They have butt plugs that have tails,” Riley said holding a pretty pink and glitter one, “And a unicorn horn, I could fulfill all my little kid dreams and become a unicorn.”
“Please don't refer to yourself as a little girl in here” Sammie frowned, “It’s weird.”
“Ok, sorry sorry.” Riley said looking over the other items on the wall. “I have been wanting to try these,” she said, pulling a pair of nipple clamps. Sammie, already feeling VERY out of place just looked down at her phone nodding.
“Get whatever you want, I just don’t want to picture you and Sam… doing stuff.”
“Ok fine,” Riley said, grabbing ones she thought she would like before walking over to Yue who was looking over a rack of panties.
“Find anything fun?”
“Yeah a few things, What do you think?” she asked, holding up a lacy lingerie. A pretty green color.
“Love the color” Riley nodded before grabbing a pair of fluffy black cuffs, “Get these too,”
“Ok but I want the pink ones,” Yue giggled thinking about the morning where Loki had dressed up in her bunny robe. He looked good in it. Under all that eyeliner and studds he was just a big dork. She found it hilarious and would do everything to keep messing with that side for her own amusement.
“So are you guys meeting up tonight?” Sammie asked, coming up nodding toward the set Yue was holding approving.
“No he hasn’t texted me.”
“So what about late dinner? Gary was saying we should go out to this speakeasy place.”
“Oh let me text Sam,” Riley said, “He’s been wanting to go there. Yue you can just find your Paul Rudd while we are out.”
“Or just enjoy the company I’m with.” Yue snickered, “I don’t have to spend every night hooking up.”
“What’s the fun in that?” The cashier chuckled as she took Yue’s things.
“A girl needs at least one night to herself.”
“Well you got the wrong stuff for a night by yourself.” the cashier said as she wrapped everything up, “But I do have some dildos on sale if you want some you time.”

Sam had responded almost immediately that he would pick the girls up. Something about a long week and just wanting to be with his lady. So rushing back to their apartment the girls quickly changed out of their jeans and hoodies into more slutty hipster attire. (A girl’s gotta dress the occasion after all)
Once she was more speakeasy and less “I am cuddling with my two best friends watching movies” Yue grabbed her bag and walked outside her apartment. After locking her door she turned almost running into a tall dark haired man. Dressed in a red leather jacket he was smoking a cigarette. Yue’s eyes instantly went up to the man’s bold white streak that ran across the front of his black hair. Blue eyes looking down at her amused.
“Oh, excuse me.”
The large man shrugged holding out his cigarette pack “Want one?”
Yue shook her head, thrusting her keys back into her purse, “I’m good thanks.”
He nodded putting the pack away, “You’re all dressed up, going somewhere fun?”
“Yeah just dinner with friends.”
“Nice, I’m visiting a friend, know any good places to go?”
“Uh well we are going to Idain Basian but if you want something more happening, maybe like Valencia street?”
“Oh sounds good, I’m not big on waterfronts.”
“Well I hate to break it to you but San Francisco is basically an island.”
This earned her another chuckle. “True, well have a good night and be careful there’s a full moon out tonight, never know what crazy you'll run into.”
Yue nodded walking toward the gate of the complex where her friends were waiting, turning back she got one last look at the man, for a moment she could have sworn it looked like his eyes glowed.
Maybe she was watching too many cartoons.
Or maybe he was just a bunch of gnomes in a trench coat.
No, she was definitely watching too many cartoons.
