This is actually the first time I do this kind of thing, but I have more free time now that I graduated. During university I hadn't really been reading as much as I would like to. Now I'm making up for it. ^^'
Well this my TBR for now.
I am currently reading The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson on kindle, and I plan on ordering physical copies of the series once the fourth book is out.
So till then, I plan on reading these books.
Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. I have only read two Neil Gaiman books so far, Coraline and Norse Mythology, and I would like to read more by him. And since Good Omens got a TV series adaptation, I thought I'd give it a shot before watching the adaptation.
The Twelve Days of Dash and Lily by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. I only recently discovered that Dash and Lily got a Netflix adaptation AND a third book. So what better time to reread the series than now, right? I already reread the first book, and I'm gonna read the second one next.
Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. After reading The Final Empire by Sanderson I really wanted to read another fantasy heist story. I've seen lots of people reccomending these books, and I actually bought them after watching booktuber Cindy from readwithcindy gush about them. I thought if Cindy liked them this much then they must be good. So yea, hope they lives up to the expectations.
Forgiven, Foretold, Mind Games and Valiant Light by Jana Oliver. The Demon Trappers series is one of the first series I read when I first got into reading, which was when I was around 13 ~ 15 years old. When I saw that it got two more books published, I was beyond ecstatic. But I couldn't get my hands on them till this year. Living in the Middle East makes buying the books I wanna read extremely difficult, with the shipping fees and all that. (Thank God for Ebooks, am I right?) So, yeah. It has been a while since I read the Demon Trappers series, so I'm rereading them before moving on to the new ones to refresh my memory.
I also have been rereading another series that I read when I was a teenager which is the Hex Hall trilogy by Rachel Hawkins. It's really funny and lighthearted, and it just kinda nostalgic for me.
So yea. Kinda ambitious, planning to read all these books before the end of the year, but I've been in a reading slump for almost four years, it's time I make it up.
