Day 29: Belzebuth

Lord of the Flies Great Duke of Orcus Pestilence Incarnate Arrogance, scorn and even extreme nuisance may not be enough adjectives to describe Belzebuth, one of the first arthropod lords among the various chitinous exoskeleton-covered demons that inhabit the Twelve Hells, especially those that come from Orcus, The House of Insects and 10th Cycle from Hell, where envious souls are sent, a sin which the Duke himself has been accused of several times, but which he likes to punish such condemned amid Orcus' ravines, infested with crawling creatures. Despite not being the most pleasant of companies, Belzebuth proved to be a valuable ally several times, facing one of the so-called Marchog - Fallen Angels, enemies of Paradise and the Underworld - with his knowledge acquired as a daimon, a strategist without equal in the Twelve. It may not seem like it, but Belzebuth hides a certain level of charity and empathy under his purple shell, he just doesn't know how to demonstrate it in the best way.

Day 12: Alastor

The Executioner Baron of Gehenna The Ugly

Gallus are executioners and torturers from Hell, making modifications to their bodies to be frightening enough for their victims, which is why most of them are from species already considered naturally apt for such, such as the Gressili, Rahabs and Kabandhas, which makes the presence of Alastor, an Incubus, in its ranks, and especially under the direct supervision of the Lady of the Abyss, being its main baron in the Fortress of Avernus, in the center of Gehenna, somewhat unusual.

Alastor suffers from a tremendous low self-esteem, his body and face being covered with self-inflicted scars, hoping to match his caste patron, having a deep hatred for his own figure, seen by many of his colleagues as "unsuitable" for his job. Protected by his mistress, the Incubus ended up becoming a master of torture above all other gallus, being also the main emissary of Avernus to the other kingdoms of the Underworld besides the Twelve Hells.

Day 9: Dantalion

The Abandoned Baron of Sharavet The Voice of Reason Dantalion is a curious case amid the ranks of shedins, the healer demons and masters of mind magic. Its origin is not in any of the several species and races scattered throughout the Twelve, but in the Umbral, The House of Ghosts and home of the dreaded Eblis, being then a Qlipot, one of its several minions, which makes him to be seen with suspicion by many of his companions of caste and function, which translates to him in his isolation. The Lady of the Abyss welcomed Dantalion in her last combat with Eblis's servants, being taught everything he knows directly by Her and the Grand Duchess of Sharavet. Dantalion is very grateful to both, but his seclusion makes it difficult to see through his different looks.

Day 28: Belphegor

Lord of the Pishachas Great-Duke of Sheol The Rotund Judge Pishachas are demonic apes whose origin is in the hot and misty jungles taken by stone ruins of Sheol, The Endless Labyrinth, and Belphegor is their supreme lord, owner of a keen mind, versed in the most diverse styles of magic and a fervent lover of the history of the Immortal Plans, having for a long time been one of several inferis residing in the libraries of Avernus, hiding its origin within the messy Pishacha nobility, taken by constant intrigue and coups, only ceased with the help of the Lady of the Abyss and the rise of Belphegor as a great duke. Sheol, the 9th Cycle of Hell, is where Belphegor punishes violent souls, which a layman would take as simply wrathful and, therefore, belonging to Acheron, but here are true criminals, whose taste for causing pain and suffering to others is rewarded in the same currency. Belphegor believes in redemption, but he knows that it is rare in his domain, and that most of the souls he punishes are condemned for their sin forever.

Day 21: Orobas

The Ogre King Great Duke of Tehom The Lord of the Forge The Bunes are one of the many species of the Twelve Hells that have their own policies, having an almost tribal structure divided into several clans, of which Orobas is the leader with the Baroness Vualsuhr, being him the most bellicose counterpart of the sovereign couple, but still being a fair leader both for his people and for the other inhabitants of Tehom. Rising from his former position as a skilled cambion and formidable blacksmith, Orobas is the lord of the Desert of Souls and 2nd Cycle of Hell, where he punishes the souls taken by Gluttony, whose insatiable desire ended up blinding them, making them selfish and then condemned to hard work in the dryness and scarcity of the great desert, in addition to being attacked and devoured by beasts all the time. Despite this, Orobas knows that Gluttony is not always linked to the egoism of the soul, and those who see what led them to such errors are sometimes taken by the Grand Duke himself for eternal redemption, handed over again to the Limbo judgment for ascend.

Day 30: Naamah

The Chained Lady Great Duchess of Malebolge The Hellbound Heart Like all gressili, Naamah shows several scars, abrasions and modifications in her bluish skin, but there always seemed to be something more to her even during her years in the gallus' ranks. There is a psychic connection between her and her chains, which cover her body like vines in a tree, being one of the few capable of controlling them only with the strength of her mind, saving her from physical attacks and using them to her methods of torture in her domain, the Chained Glacier. Malebolge, 11th Cycle of Hell, is where traitors go, especially those who do not regret breaking their word and use such actions for their own gain, hurting those who cared for them. Naamah, despite her atrocious appearance, has a good and radiant heart, willing to recover those who are willing as well, but she also hates the simple idea of treachery, living up to her nicknames and her gressili heritage when carrying out her punishments, because "the pain it can also heal "as she says.

Day 26: Gamygin

The Wise Serpent Great Duchess of Jahannam The Eldritch Warrior The Lamia are not native to the Twelve Hells, but are mostly subordinate to Tartarus, one of the kingdoms of death, under the command of the Olympian Hades or even Hecate, the Night Witch. Some, however, found their way with the hordes of the Lady of the Abyss, Gamygin being the direct descendant of the Lamia Matriarchs, still present in the domains of Hades, inheriting from them a taste for arcane magic, which made it easy for her to enter the ranks of the daimons, but without abandoning her warrior spirit. Gamygin commands the Worms' Dungeon, Jahannam, where fraudulent, false and hypocritical souls are sent, who preached something they did not live on or whose lies ended up causing a greater evil, being flogged by the 7th Cycle residents and handed over to the various beasts that live there to be destroyed. Gamygin, like most Great Dukes, believes in repentance, taking repentant souls to a new trial or adopting them as protégés.

Day 7: Beleth

Son of Baphomet Baron of Duzakh The Privileged Satyrs are among the most common demons, abundantly scattered throughout the Twelve Hells, possessing their political games that spread through all cycles as if it were a kingdom of its own. Baphomet, one of the great barons of Gehenna and directly subordinate to Lady of Darkness, placed one of his sons in the ranks of the Daimons, the great diplomats and strategists of the Underworld. Beleth has a strategic mind that stands out even among the others of his caste, in addition to being a great connoisseur of arcane magic due to his father's magical tradition. A demon born in a cradle of gold and sulfur, Beleth knows what it is to have status and power, things he would not give up even if his personal honor and life depended on it.
