When Glynda hears Ruby’s message about James, she races to Atlas, desperate to figure out what’s happening. She has to see for herself what’s happening and help everyone. However she gets their too late. Atlas has fallen and the Ace Ops tell her that James is dead, Robyn making a point to state that he deserves it and Glynda is mortified when no one scolds her for her callous attitude. Glynda turns to Qrow and demands to know if he agrees with her, but Qrow at this point isn’t really processing anything that’s happening, all he can think about is his nieces are dead and his semblance has to be blamed for it. He’s merely numbly going along with everyone not really processing anything. Glynda can’t help but blame herself, if she had gotten to Atlas faster, if she had checked on him and made sure he was okay, maybe he would still be alive. 

30. one headcanon about this OTP that mends it

Glynda refuses to join the group, deciding she would go back to Beacon but she needed a moment to mourn. The others leave her and she collapsed to the ground, crying, but then, she hears something and goes to investigate, and finds James, hurt and confused but very much alive dragging himself out of the icy water. Glynda sneaks him off to her ship and resolves to sneak him back to Beacon to rest and recover. James only has vague memories or what happened in Atlas, only really remembering that everyone betrayed him and Atlas fell. Because of his memory loss and severe injuries Glynda convinces him to stay and rest so no one finds out he’s alive and she would much rather have it that way for his safety.

I needed some fluff today, and I figured I’d share it because we all need fluff right now. So here’s hot dad Kanan Jarrus, still very much alive. Which, as we all know, is the way it really happened- and that “canon” story is hot garbage (shout-out to my fellow denial train riders). 

Just fyi The Sims 4 is a limited game, there’s only so much you can do even with mods and custom content. I did my best. Annnnnnd...I like my version of Jacen better.

Gonna preface this super quick by saying that I am seriously not trying to start shit, I'm just genuinely curious: do you think that Ironwood added the caveat of Penny self-terminating after opening the Vault, or was that a Watts thing? 'cause on the one hand I can see him hoping the power would go to Winter, and we saw that he didn't have qualms about killing people in his way (RIP Councilman Sleet), but at the same time it just doesn't feel... right?

Hey anon! Honestly, I don't think he did. He seemed genuinely relieved and was, relatively let me add, kind to her when he thought she was surrendering. Again I must emphasis this is relatively speaking ie he is using softer tones with her places a comforting hand on her shoulder ect. I know he is arresting her BUT I am speaking from a how James is treating her after he 'arrests' her. I don't think he knew or planned for the virus I think that was 100% something Watts added to screw James over in the hopes of helping the maiden powers go to someone working with Salem or someone they could manipulate.

At the end of the day....99% of the James we saw in Volume 8 did not feel like James if that makes sense? Him ordering civilians to be evacuated and initially when he goes for his gun when with Salem in the vaults are some of the very few moments I can recall that really felt like it was actually James. The rest felt....very wrong. So while I can see why it feels in character for V8 James to me V8 James in his entirety really just doesn't feel like the character we knew from volumes 1-7. That James seems to have died off screen on us and was replaced by an imposter and no one in the show realized it and just happily abandoned him without even wondering what happened.

Okay sorry I know that went way of tangent with the original ask but I just...I genuinely hate what happened with V8 James and I really don't want anything to do with him he just feels so wrong. But back to the ask with how James is....I feel like shooting Sleet really was just out of nowhere and that in reality he would never just kill a subordinate like that. But even within the show if I am remembering correctly the way Watts talks about putting the virus in Penny it felt like it was something he snuck in when James wasn't paying attention rather then something James asked him to do. You are of course more then welcome to disagree with my thought process but it's just my thoughts on it. I....am not attached to anything in V8 so I don't have strong feelings about people disagreeing because to me I just ignore that it even exists or is even canon. But as I said even disregarding canon the feeling I got with how the characters where speaking I don't think James added the virus or wanted it added, if he did with how the writers wanted us to hate James I feel like they would have had him explicitly state to Watts he wanted him to do that.

Star Wars Rebels Self-indulgent Mini Fix it fic.

Hera was waiting outside the Rebel conference room as Mon Mothma, Bail and Dodona were discussing whether or not to launch the attack on Lothal. Hera was quickly losing her patience. They had been there for hours! But just then, when the hallway was silent and no one looking, a hand pulled at her and she felt herself yanked out of reality. She saw stars. Literal stars. She reacted defensively, stepping away from the person at her side. But when she looks at him, her eyes go wide...

"Ezra?" Or at least that's what she thinks... this person definitely looks a few years older. Even has long hair. This older Ezra has a desperate look on his face.

"Hera, listen to me," Ezra said tried to calm her down. He seemed in a hurry, looking nervously behind them.

"Ezra- What-?" Hera blinked trying to understand what's going on.

"No time to explain! JUST LISTEN!" his voice raises in worry. "Don't do the assault on Lothal. Your unit will get decimated. Blow the factory's fuel depot remotely."

"WHAT? I CAN'T JUST-," she starts but he keeps talking.

"Bring Hondo and the others," the young man looked down to his hands as they started to become transparent. He was running out of time. "AND GO TO THE JEDI TEMPLE!" he gave her his final message and took her by the shoulders, throwing her back through some kind of luminous arch. She gasped in surprise trying to get a hold on him but then he's gone.

She hit the ground with a small thud, back on the empty hallway on the Rebel base. The door opened and Mon Mothma gave her a double take on the floor.

"Is everything alright Captain Syndulla?"

There was a pause as they stared at each other before Hera responded. She still processing what had just happened.

"There... has been a change of plans."
