What denomination are you
Eh. I've never been big on these labels, but I get why they're there.
I can narrow it down to the Protestant Evangelical-Baptist kind of range. I don't recognise the authority of the Pope/RC church, I don't support the 'Progressive' churches in their rewriting of Scripture, and I believe baptism is an expression of your own faith, not something that has power to save you in itself and therefore ought not be performed on babies.
I believe the Bible is God's Word and I follow it to the best of my ability along with the support of a church family that does the same. I help church ministries, I listen to my pastors and I study the Bible with the fellowship, which is our highest authority.
I just see myself as Christian, not in the nominal sense of blindly identifying as one with no practice behind it, but just in the sense that the denominations mean less to me that following and practicing the love of the gospel, of understanding my status as a sinner, of knowing that God sent His Son to die for my sins, and the faith I have in grace alone being the key to my salvation and the salvation of the world. Therefore, I trust His word, His teachings and His Scripture as the infallible word of God.
Anyone calling themselves Christians ought to understand and adhere to that definition, which isn't about perfection in the following of Him but recognising only God is perfect and we're on the receiving end of His mercy, therefore we follow Him. The rest is just details to me.
