Saving for ValhallaDSP ValhallaDelay
So now I’m slowly saving for the ValhallaDSP ValhallaDelay plugin - weighing in at a massive $50 at https://valhalladsp.com/shop/delay/valhalladelay/
Who knows how long it’ll take me to get that moolah together.

Depositmän update
Well, I walked into a 1Store in Kamppi and asked them for a quote on the non-TouchBookPro - i.e. not going TouchBar because it ain’t the future. I got a quote, and was surprised!
The device I’m looking for will cost me 3279€ + AppleCare (350€) but let’s keep AppleCare out of this for now. This would mean that we’ve suddenly reached 11,33882281%.
Well, back to picking up bottles and cans!
So, since The Box / The House got super-full of coins, I decided to deposit them onto a Nordea savings account. I guess I’ll be here for quite some time, collecting bottles, etc, so might as well get a ton of interest out of it, too, get to that new machine quicker.
Interestingly enough, some of the notes refused to get recognised by the machine, so me and the wifey had to run them in again. First we dumped in the notes, which were 170€ worth of, then we figured out that the device was broken and didn’t take coin, we went all the way to Itis only to see the whole shopping center was closed due to it being late on a Sunday evening.. And that’s why it took me quite some time to get around to depositing the coins too. Imagine that, carrying 212 pieces of 0,10€ coins in your pockets for considerable amounts of time?
Yeah, so here’s the tally:
4x 20€ notes 4x 10€ notes 10x 5€ notes 24x 2€ coins 35x 1€ coins 95x 0,50€ coins 203x 0,20€ coins 212x 0,10€ coins 190x 0,05€ coins
The coins weighed quite a bit so I was happy to deposit them in the end.
At the end, the moneys on the savings account is:
371,80€!
wait, how does that even make sense? The last count was 365,75€? I don’t know either. Not a lot of stuff makes sense around here. Either there’s extra coinage or notage being put in for no reason at all, I’ve miscalculated at some point in time (don’t worry, I won’t look back..) or something else is going on.
Anyway, that’s the tally. We’re slightly over 10% and the project is, well, continuing.
Ely-keskuksen ylitarkastajan mukaan kaupat ovat velvollisia maksamaan pantin aina rahana, mikäli asiakas itse niin haluaa.
I’ve never come across this problem, but whichever shop denied bottle-deposits->receipt->pure money should be banned/boycotted. come on!
The “worst” I’ve had to do is sign the receipt at LIDL when I take over 5€ worth of bottles there. They did look at me strange when I walked in with a 90€ receipt (or something like that) but they never refused. Go LIDL!
Emergency-stop is active! Help!
The horror! The horror! A 0,15€ can was recognized as a non-deposit can and I am now officially trying to recover what is mine.
But then the day turning into an evening, and night, and then came the next day. Except it totally didn’t, because we still on the evening of the same day. A can was discovered. Maybe it was in Sörnäinen, you will never know, and neither will I!
Incidentally, I have a 0,10€ plastic bottle waiting for me in my bag, but no depositmachine will eat it. I guess I gotta go all LIDL on it.
Hmm, if I put all the numbers below eachother, would I start seeing specific repetitions of numbers? These numbers look terribly familiar somehow.
101,05+0,15 = 101,20/3659*100 = 2,7657830008%
