I had been eyeing this cloth bag at the office with growing concern, and since it had been pretty ripe for the past week, decided to return them yesterday, being a Friday. I had to leave four or five cans/bottles behind in the cupboard - so there’s already a good start for the next big haul. Anyway, ever since I cashed in the previous receipts and saw my savings account rise up slowly, I’ve been a bit more interested in finishing the project successfully.

4,15€ bring us up to 413,95€! Not bad.

Oh wow, 0,50€! Pretty neat, just broke that magic limit of 376€.

Pretty neat - this would probably have been a set of two cans and a plastic bottle, or 5 glass bottles, or two plastic bottles and a glass bottle, or maybe one  gigantic plastic bottle and a glass bottle, or maybe even one of those Froosh bottles that are worth 0,10€!

Another day, another 0,15€. It’s a can, big deal. Well, at least I kept active with the project!

I was lucky enough to receive a phonecall to pick up some bottles! I dragged them all in, and the result was: 3,50€! Which is a great way to proceed towards reaching 400€, which is my next goal, really.

This, along with the updated price for a mid-2015 MacBookPro, brings us to a grand total of 375,30€ - and 11,44556%!.

So, since The Box / The House got super-full of coins, I decided to deposit them onto a Nordea savings account. I guess I’ll be here for quite some time, collecting bottles, etc, so might as well get a ton of interest out of it, too, get to that new machine quicker.

Interestingly enough, some of the notes refused to get recognised by the machine, so me and the wifey had to run them in again. First we dumped in the notes, which were 170€ worth of, then we figured out that the device was broken and didn’t take coin, we went all the way to Itis only to see the whole shopping center was closed due to it being late on a Sunday evening.. And that’s why it took me quite some time to get around to depositing the coins too. Imagine that, carrying 212 pieces of 0,10€ coins in your pockets for considerable amounts of time?

Yeah, so here’s the tally:

The coins weighed quite a bit so I was happy to deposit them in the end.

wait, how does that even make sense? The last  count was 365,75€? I don’t know either. Not a lot of stuff makes sense around here. Either there’s extra coinage or notage being put in for no reason at all, I’ve miscalculated at some point in time (don’t worry, I won’t look back..) or something else is going on.

Anyway, that’s the tally. We’re slightly over 10% and the project is, well, continuing.

We just broke 282 and 7,7%! I guess you thought I stopped posting to this blog - well, as you probably saw from the previous posted images, I’ve been busy emptying The Box and it took quite some time - 55 receipts had to be de-crumpled, I had to fish out the coinage for those specific ones from a pile of coins, and take a photo, transfer them and then post them here. So, I’m guessing once I’m done posting all of these there’ll be material for days! No. Weeks. No. Months...
