SO, the depot agents, huh? They've kinda taken over a bit in the brain space! I just think they're neat and deserve more love actually! genuinely I want to expand them further so if anyone wants to bounce ideas I'd be more than happy to!
I mean. Of course the first Depot Agent I would conceptualize would be Cloud ☁️ It’s kinda my thing~
Funny story: I came up with this image & persona BEFORE I read his somewhat intense quotes. I had the idea that it’s his more serious / Battler side coming out, but on the inside he’s like “let’s get this done - it’s almost the end of my shift” (why he tells you to go home in his victory quote) XD
More info:
Some take his relaxed nature as laziness when he is actually very efficient & so gives himself the time to relax (aka check on the others or take a “rest”).
In DxP REWRITE, he’s helping Josh run Gear Station & the Battle Subway as the temporary Boss (a decision that surprised many, especially Josh!). It could be that he feels a little responsible, because Emmet didn’t ask him (because he knew his answer would be no), but it’s more like that’s just who he is - someone who gently lifts people up.
I feel like he’d have a Salted Cream Alcremie as well (maybe a companion at home?)
When he was younger, he was a Lifeguard, which gave him a sense for safety & manners that made him a very good fit for the Battle Subway.

Minor edits: decided to add a little more color & shift some things around 🩵
Behold the station bois, exclusive to the Battle Subway!
Now... p r e p a r e... FOR CHARACTER BLURBS! BECAUSE I CAN!
MUWAH-HA-HA-HAH!
Depot Agent Jackie
They/them, Mid 20’s
About: When not battling challengers, Jackie is usually assigned behind-the-scenes tasks. Despite their trickster streak and love of teasing others, they take safety protocols seriously and never intend to cause harm. They’re often paired up with Cameron for station duties.
Tid-bit: Enjoys messing with people, but genuinely cares about their friends.
Depot Agent Cameron
She/Her, Early 20’s
About: When not battling challengers, Cameron typically handles behind-the-scenes technical work. She can be awkward in casual conversation, but her mechanical expertise makes her invaluable to the team. She often works alongside Jackie.
Tid-bit: During heated battles, Cameron’s insecurities over her combat prowess can fade, quickly turning the tide of battle.
Depot Agent Isadore
He/Him, Early 50’s
About: When not battling challengers, Isadore handles administrative tasks not quite important enough to reach the twins, but still vital to the Battle Subway. His seniority combined with his resemblance to Ingo (thanks to his greying hair and grumpy face) has earned him the nickname “Bargain Bin Ingo”. (Thanks Jackie)
Tid-bit: Rarely battles compared to other agents due to his administrative focus.
Depot Agent Ramses
He/Him, Late 30’s
About: When not battling challengers, Ramses serves as an all-rounder, lending a hand wherever needed. This often leads to him working alongside Cloud, Furze, or Isadore.
Tid-bit: Always on the move, Ramses can often be found with a few of the station’s Joltik feasting on the static electricity from his uniform.
Depot Agent Cloud
She/Her, Early 30’s
About: When not battling challengers, Cloud is the go-to agent (along with Furze) for customer service matters. Her confidence and no-nonsense attitude make her invaluable in diffusing tense situations and handling disruptive trainers.
Tid-bit: Loves a good friendly battle. Her skills could have made her a strong Gym Leader, but she would rather not have that kind of responsibility.
Depot Agent Furze
He/Him, Early 20’s
About: When not battling challengers, Furze works alongside Cloud as a customer service specialist. His upbeat personality makes him a favorite among passengers.
Tid-bit: Furze’s, energy and optimism is infectious. He’s usually able to leave upset passengers with a smile and feeling better by the time he’s done speaking with them.
We get a look at what other characters were up to. In particular, the depot agents.
To explain a bit about what happened to them: some ran away as refugees to another region, some ran to join the resistance (led by Elesa), and some ended up joining Team Plasma out of necessity (either because they were captured or something else).
Putting the second pic here because I never got around to finishing it lmao
Also because the previous one works fine on its own, so this was scrapped, but have it anyways as a little bonus
So mean to them, nonbinary ghost is too linked to the place to be able to leave </3
Oh man after drawing this two years ago I finally drew the other three. Also wow my art has hella improved
While working on Lost & Found, the Depot Agents kinda just took on a life of their own. Around the same time my husband was playing Judgement/Lost Judgement so I had a lot of influence from there haha. I can't really visualize in my head, so it's surprising that they all came out the way they did, that I would look at this and be like "yep, this is them"
I'm not the first to have headcanons about them, and I won't be the last. Similarities to other people's interpretations are coincidental. If you like their designs feel free to use them, but link it to me so I can see it OwO
Without further ado, there's stuff below the cut:
Jackie (She/Her)
Is not actually a cryptid or a ghost, but she likes letting people believe that.
Is 100% committed to the bit. Nobody sees her leave or arrive. (She has an apartment that's a very short walk from Gear Station, she leaves out the back)
She's trans! She transitioned while working at Gear Station (after Isadore started), but nobody remembers who she was before. Coincidentally, that's when the cryptid rumors started.
She usually works nights. She likes it better than working day shifts.
She scares creeps into behaving. It's a well-known secret that riding the trains is safer at night because of her.
Isadore BEGS her to stop scaring the piss out of passengers (although he does appreciate her getting unruly passengers to behave. He just doesn't want to submit a report about it if someone complains)
Is VERY mischievous. Isadore despises that the twins don't seem to do anything about her pranks and behavior (as long as it isn't harming anyone or being disruptive, they don't really care)
Prefers ghost types, though she does have an Aipom that follows her around sometimes.
Isadore (He/Him)
I based his design off of Higashi from Judgement. Just kinda fit in my mind for whatever reason XD
Used to be a punk in his youth until he was forced to work at Gear Station to get some structure in his life.
It changed him radically
Ingo specifically promoted him because of how hard he works.
No shenanigans allowed. Very by-the-books.
He's "stern father" scary. You do not want him to be mad at you.
Helps run Gear Station when Ingo and Emmet are out for whatever reason.
Actually great at customer service, Cameron just has to convince people he's not mad, he just looks like that.
Secretly likes dramas and romance novels.
Wears tinted glasses. Nobody knows why, and nobody is brave enough to ask. (It's because he gets migraines easily; they help with light)
Cameron (He/They)
I named him after my cousin. And that's why he's black. XD
He has little confidence in himself as a trainer, even though he can definitely hold his own in a battle
Excellent at logistics and customer service. Ingo and Emmet leave most logistical things to Cameron because he's scary good at it.
Speaking of which, he works best with Isadore. Together they're a logistical powerhouse.
You literally can't be mad at that face. He's good at calming down even the most irate passengers.
Ingo prefers Cameron train new Depot Agents, because he's very good at explaining things and ensuring nobody leaves confused or unsure.
He can be easily bribed with sweets.
He loves to gossip, and gossips often with Emmet (Who is all about the tea)
Often suggests new ideas to Ingo and Emmet.
Cloud (She/Her)
Along with Ramses, she's been at Gear Station before Ingo and Emmet became Subway Boss.
She and Ramses are best friends. They're practically siblings.
Team Mom. Need a ride home? She's got you. Forgot lunch? Don't worry about paying her back.
A veteran trainer who refuses to retire. She's got plenty of years left in her; she's not quite as competitive as she was in her youth, but don't underestimate her.
Don't upset her. She won't be mad, just disappointed.
Has an incredibly soft spot for children. She's the one called up when a child is lost.
Loves swapping baking recipes.
Furze (Any/All)
The youngest and newest depot agent!
Really. REALLY. loves trains. Emmet hired him purely because of his enthusiasm.
They're the poster child for ADHD. Literally cannot sit still.
Is a huge fan of all the Pokemon League Champions. (Do not ask him his favorite. He can't pick just ONE)
Has only seen Jackie all of two times; she scares the hell out of her. She literally thinks Jackie is actually a ghost, no matter how many times Isadore tries to correct her.
Really strong work ethic; they love helping anyone with anything.
Often doesn't wear his hat, resulting in Isadore threatening to write him up over it.
Ramses (He/Him)
The oldest Depot Agent at Gear Station (Older than Cloud by a year or two)
Retired Electric Gym Leader (he was the gym leader before Elesa's predecessor)
Team Dad. He loves to help out doing dad things.
He's just...really chill. Nothing really bothers him in his old age.
But don't underestimate him either; he'll absolutely kick your ass in a battle.
If Cameron can't deal with a passenger, Ramses is the last person before Ingo or Emmet has to deal with it.
(I'm so sorry he's DILF material. Almost had me acting unwise drawing him O///O)
And because I drew them all without their hats at first, here they are without hats. I learned a lot about drawing hair!
Have some…. Battle depot agents. I’m too sleepy to add any more stuff to this rn.
I may or may not have made my own Pokémon type lookup-by-number in excel for this. I was having a strange time. If you really really want statistics on these guys’ pokemon types for some reason just shoot me an ask or something lol.
I like these guys they’re funny and ill probably post their shenanigans soon enough
