I found a box, put tea bags and activities in it. Today as depression set in, I pulled two and got tea and video games, which cheered me up.

I'm aware that sleep and being used as a coping mechanism is in fact one of the symptoms of depression, but like it does actually help sometimes man, like yeah I know the concept of everything in moderation, but sometimes if you take a little nap even if you already slept for 12 hours that day, the funky voices in your head telling you everything in life is wrong shut up and then forget they were supposed to be speaking, when you wake back up again
So, if you're like me and have trouble remembering to do the important thing ™️, start keeping a chalkboard marker in your bathroom or bedroom and leave notes for yourself on the mirror. It's especially better to use in the bathroom because you're guaranteed to look in the mirror while washing your hands and brushing your teeth. It's typically the last thing you see before bed and the first when you wake up. Use a bright, flashy color to grab your attention. It's also really easy to clean.
I've tried setting alarms on my phone, but I just dismiss them or leave the badge up for days on end without doing the thing™️. Same with the chalkboard on my fridge. Or the sticky notes around my computer. Or my planner with dates and times. With using the bathroom mirror, I'm forced to face judgement of my own procrastination or terrible memory.
Yes, you can still avoid your responsibilities, but I have a faster turnaround with The Mirror of Truth than anything else I've tried using to remind me of special chores.
Tomorrow, obviously, I need to clean the bathroom, vacuum, and clean my ear jewelry and makeup brushes. Are some of these important or are they just a thing I've been meaning to do? Will I get all of these done? Maybe not. Will I do at least one of them? Probably, yes.
Doesn't matter which one, at least try to knock one off the list. Give yourself a do by date, like three days from now, to do three simple chores.
Less stress.
Less mess.
Better sense of accomplishment.
Hopefully this post can help someone else with the same problems.

The Backstory Dr Moses Simuyemba
I was an unhappy workaholic trying to recover from mental fatigue and lack of clarity. I really wanted to figure out why I was so low in mental energy and sickly physically, so I wouldn’t have to go through life feeling unhappy, unfulfilled and ineffective.
The Desire
I really wanted to be able to feel better so I could get my energy, drive and focus…
