Watched LC's newest video and was reminded to watch 'Additional Information' since its got my goat, the unknown entity, in it
We have a name and a reason for it, they're called Despair Cullers, who, as stated by the video, 'delusionally believe the world is perfect', and as such, murder those who have mental issues like depression, as since they're not enjoying life, they don't deserve it!
Natrually I began drawing, and I also imagined, what if they were in Darkest Hours?
Stats:
Threat Type : Acceleration, Chase, Happiness Detection (Long-Distance Detection)
Difficulty Level : 6 / 10 (I'm now looking at the
difficulty levels and god
damn what would a
10/10 difficulty look like??)
Happiness
Upon seeing the Depair Culler for the first time during a match, the Happiness Bar will appear, which can be lowered or raised through various means:
Lowering:
Taking damage, witnessing players being stunned or die, or viewing certain enemies that would either cause sadness (Eyeless, Spawn, Lita, Newborns, ect.) or mental distress (TheEntity, King, Kolossos, Renderman, ect.)
Raising:
Using items, saving players, and completing objectives.
If the bar reaches zero, D.C will target you no matter what. If there are multiple players with no Happiness, they'll target whoever has had it the longest.
Despair Culler
Roaming
The Despair Culler will roam around the map as usual, however, every 20 seconds, it will see all living players, and will then begin moving towards the location of the player with the lowest Happiness.
Chasing
The D.C is slower than the player, but depending on how low their happiness is, they'll be able to track the player through walls better. Each 10s of the happiness bar will add seconds in increments.
Ex.
100 - No new time
90 - 2 added seconds
80 - 3 added seconds
70 - 4 added seconds
/ / /
10 - 10 added seconds
No Witness
When killing a player, the D.C will check around them, if another player is actively looking at it when in this state, it will begin to chase them regardless of Hapiness. When losing the player, it will check the last location they saw them, if they see no one, they'll return to their Roaming state.
