Hello fellow fibre and crafting friends,

The time has come to destash my many many boxes of yarn, spinning fibre, fabric, and various crafting notions and possibly WIPs.

I don't want to clutter the main blog and annoy the poor souls who are not here for crafting stuff, so come over to my -> side blog <- which is very empty as of this moment. I'll be going through my stash bit by bit over the next weeks (months?), so if you see something there you'd want for your own projects, dm me, and we'll figure something out - trade, gift, donation to charity, I don't know. We'll see. Ideally, we'd trade items the other person needs, so neither of us would have to buy something new. Wouldn't that be great??

Important edit: I'm in Germany - I'm happy to send stuff internationally! If you're not, keep that in mind for trades. :)

PS: Please refrain from starting discourse about craft stashes - we've all seen all variations of those by now and don't need to rehash them. Please also don't explain to me the existence of Facebook / no-buy-groups / Ebay / other platforms where I could offer up my stash. Assume that I already know of them, and am posting this here on purpose. :)

Destash complete!

On the weekends over four months I made eight blankets using up 17 skeins of yarn, at least 5 being the large pound skeins, yay! My stash feels more manageable now as everything is not all squished together.

I need to rearrange some yarn; what baby yarn I have left will fit in a small bin as will my chenille yarns and cottons. Sis had arranged everything by color for me which I'll keep for the acrylics. It feels so good to be able to do this!

I'm cleaning out some of my stash in anticipation of cleaning out our eventually nursery and I'm not really a big stash person and yet

My only defense is that middle bag of white Irish wool was given to me but there's no way I'm ever going to knit it so hoping someone at the reuse place has a very lucky day. The balls in front need quick labels bc I know what they are but I lost the real labels a decade ago I'm sure.

If I got rid of like. 6 years worth of yarn stash for dirt cheap, would anyone here be interested in it? I’ll do it via eBay but I really just want it out of my apartment and don’t think anyone is going to trust a listing that’s $5 for as much yarn as I can shove in a box.
