WE’RE HAVING A SLEEPOVER!
“What do you mean you never slow danced?” You asked gently as you and Loki snuggled on the couch, a victorian movie playing on the tv. “You’re a prince, Loki.”
“Asgardians have a very different dance compared to your Midgardian slow dance, darling. It’s far more faster and upbeat compared to whatever this is—”
“It’s the Waltz, though!” You exclaimed, finally sitting up from your leaning position. “Or, at least a version of it.”
Loki laughed at your sudden movement. “As if I’m to know what that means?”
You let out a dramatic groan before getting up as you gently smacked his hands from your body. You readjusted your shirt that got twisted around from readjusting against Loki so many times during the movie before holding your hands out for him to grab. “C’mon.”
“What?”
“Come,” you started, wiggling your fingers. “On. I’m teaching you how to dance like a Midgardian.”
Loki rose a brow at you as you squinted at him with determination before his hands were in yours.
“Thank you.” You tugged him the best you could off the couch which only caused the both of you to laugh before Loki finally stood up on his sock clad feet.
“Okay, one hand around the middle of my back,” you instructed gently, easily lifting one of you intertwined hands to about shoulder height. Loki listened and put his other arm where he as told while your newly free hand found home on his shoulder.
“Good. Now comes the steps, all I ask is that you don’t step on my feet too hard—”
“Please,” Loki scoffed, looking up at you, “do you think I’ll do that?”
“If your Asgardian dancing isn’t like Midgards, then yes.” You tried to hold back your giggle before you leaned up to press a quick kiss to his lips. “Don’t look at your feet, look at me, okay?”
Loki nodded and you started to slowly count through the steps like you were taught forever ago, gently stepping so Loki could get the pattern. It was weird to you being the leader, but you were sure to try your best to remember the leading steps.
“This seems simple enough,” Loki uttered as the two of you stopped so you could put on some proper music to actually dance to.
“It is! It’s not too hard, just about footing. You don’t have to have your hand on my upper back, considering that’s just really the quote-unquote proper spot,” you explained, tapping around on your phone quickly. “You could really have your hand anywhere on my back. But knowing you, that’s a bad idea.”
You didn’t have to look up from your screen to notice Loki’s smirk as he chuckled. “Smart.”
“Exactly why I didn’t tell you that at first because you wouldn’t take it seriously,” you said, giggling yourself as soft, instrumental music started to play from your phone speaker. “Can you put my phone in your pocket, please? I need to be able to hear it if I want to instruct over it.”
Loki was quick to place your phone in his sweatpants pocket before grabbing your hand to tug you to him.
“Shall we?”
You grinned and made sure you were both in position before nodding.
Turns out, Loki is a fast learner with this kind of stuff. But, you should have expected that from someone who’s a prince of another realm. He and you moved smoothly once you stopped saying the step timing with the music.
He even spun you, and you didn’t teach him that.
“Are you sure you didn’t already learn this?” You questioned suddenly as your steps slowed gradually while a new song started playing as your background music.
Loki looked down at you and smiled gently. “I may have learned a version of this back at home when I was younger for a class.”
You groaned and leaned forwards to let your head hit his chest.
“You’re telling me I just taught you something you knew?”
“Yes, but to be fair,” he started gently as his hand slid from your upper back to your lower back slowly, “you’re an excellent teacher, darling.”
You peeked up at him to see a kind, inviting smile on his face. “Really?”
“Really.”
You felt your face heat up as you went to say something before Loki moved to spin you by your hand again and dip you down, supporting your body with just one arm, his face only inches from yours.
You scanned his face as you stayed in the position for a moment. He looked so utterly in love with you in this moment, and you couldn’t help but lean up and capture his lips with your own.
Loki was quick to kiss you back, carefully bringing the both of you up to your previous standing position as your lips moved together slowly, almost exactly like your dance moves from earlier until Loki pulled away.
You opened your eyes as you took your bottom lip between your teeth.
“I love you,” he whispered gently, his hand gripping yours a bit tighter.
A giddy smile grew on your face almost instantly as you felt your stomach erupt with butterflies. “I love you too. So much.”
Loki’s face moved from some hesitance to full blown joy, instantly letting your hand go to wrap his arms around you in a hug and lift you off the floor. You didn’t hide your laughter as you spun in his arms momentarily before your lips found his again in a heated kiss.

I ship you with Sherlock because I think he would appreciate your wide interests and intelligence. He is also not the best with physical touch and gets the best out of quality time, so i think this would help to make your relationship very comfortable for both of you.

I think I ship you with Bones because he is the type to appreciate a mixture of extroverted-ness and kindness.

Broomstick: what’s your favourite chore? I suppose my ‘favorite’ would be doing laundry, just ‘cause it’s pretty simple/easy lol. I’m not counting the putting away of the laundry, ‘cause for me that’s just setting the pile of clean clothes on top of my dresser lol.
Spells: what superpower would you choose? Ooohhh, thats hard, I can’t really decide between two. I would like the ability to manipulate/control nature, like trees, plants, vines, etc. Or I would love shapeshifting (like my own features, or even into an animal). Both would be wicked lol.
Nightmare: what’s your favourite Halloween movie? The classic that is Hocus Pocus, watched it yesterday for the first time in years and I was reminded of how much I love it. (P.S My fave character is Billy; see below).
