This is why the interactive page in part 59 is so important, specifically the security tapes.

Papyrus was kind to the human SOULs during the experiments.

Thus, the SOULs wanted to protect him. When Asriel absorbed the last eight monsters in Angel's Promise, the human SOULs used what little independent power they had to shield Papyrus from being fully absorbed.

About Photoshop Flowey

Has anyone ever realized Flowey’s shape is exactly like the DT Extractor?? Like. Flowey was made with DT, so this makes sense, but still. This is such an insanely cool detail, it just blows my mind.

Now I’m just wondering if this is how Flowey sees himself. 

He on purpose transformed into P. Flowey to terrify Frisk, so he changed into the most horrifying thing he knew: the machine that ripped away his soul and caused him endless agony by never being able to feel. 

And Flowey by extension views himself at an equal level of evil as the machine that ruined him; he knows what he’s doing is terrible and causing just as much suffering to others as the machine did to him.
