I almost cried while reading this section btw. There's so much hinted at in Beloved's past in these books where you'll skate over a sentence and have to go "wait what did that actually Mean? What did that happening actually Look Like?" And it's fucked. It's all fucked. Thinking about whatever insane repression Beloved had to do to be the Fool at Buckkeep makes me want to curl up and die.

Regardless of how this series ends, when I finish it I am going to choose to live in a world where Beloved never left Fitz's arms after Fool's Fate
