Very early development on Rocky and Bullwinkle. Possibly the 2nd piece done. Right from the start we knew Rocky would be lower budget and have a shorter schedule than Peabody. With this in mind I wanted a treatment that would be flat simple shapes with very minimal painted textures...In this case mostly dry brush to mimic more traditional painted keys. I also wanted a more organic quality to the bgs than the super slick look of Peabody.
