Taking a break from working on it, for now, anyone with a jacket or vest knows that it's never truly done. It will go through changes until it disintegrates. This jacket went through several layouts before I somehow decided this looks good. When I saw the bicycle gear with a Chaos star in the center I had to have it. This has basically become my bicycling jacket, it's not neon orange or green but I feel like it's kind of hard -not- to notice me if you're driving by me.
The vest was originally a dark grey, it fit perfect but I wanted it in black, so I painted it with black acrylic paint and then otter waxed it. It was pretty stiff at first so I balled/bunched it up and rolled it up a lot until it was less stiff then wore it to the gym and biking so my sweat softened it some more.
