it's a little weird that monica and stevie barely paid any attention to each other at the party, isn't it? was that breadstix date just a hoax?
I won’t be the only one who thought it was odd. You’re telling me Monica Berry, queen of having palpable sexual tension with Devon Rose was leaning on Stevie Evans, king of queerbaiting Lima with Aaron Hummel? I, for one, don’t buy it. Try all you want hunnies, you can’t throw this girl off her scent.

anyone around here who should try the whole dating thing?
Can you say.... everyone who has sexual tension with each other? Which really only narrows it to like hmmm, the usual. Devon and Monica, Blaine and Hunter, Marley and Finn, Hattie and Theo, Ross and Leo, and I’m just gonna throw in Santana and Mercedes because I think that’d be el picante.

Rumor has it Monica Berry was seen out at Breadstix with Stevie Evans, and they looked /cozy/
woah, wait a min, didn’t stevie & chandler go out ? and didn’t we all agree devon & monica were a thing ? either this is lima’s best orgy or we’re missing a tidbit of info here

are devon rose and monica berry dating?
from the best of my knowledge, no. i have yet to figure out how to get cameras in everyone’s homes so if they are a secret couple, they’re doing a great job at hiding it.

BRIGETTE LUNDY-PAINE, NON-BINARY, THEY/THEM, PANSEXUAL; Is that DEVON ROSE I see getting a cup of joe at the Lima Bean? Sounds like them. Apparently, they’re TWENTY-FOUR years old and I know from Instagram they seem to be CHARISMATIC but also BOISTEROUS and are a RECEPTIONIST AT LIMA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. Not to mention their feed reminds me of DOG-EARED LIBRARY BOOKS, GLORIOUS SUNSETS, EARLY MORNING RUNS & SPARKLING, CURIOUS EYES. Here’s to hoping they get out of Lima soon!
CHARACTER INFO:
Birthday: October 11th, 1996
Family: Rose
Relation: Full Sibling (Solo)
Birth Order: Second Youngest
THREE THINGS ABOUT DEVON:
Devon has sort of always wanted to get out of Lima. From a young age, they used reading books as an escape from their reality. A book can transport you to a mystical land full of dragons and fairies, where trailer parks and runaway dads don't exist. They spent the majority of their childhood nestled in a corner of the public library, reading any book that they could get their hands on.
They weren’t always the best at making friends. In middle school, Devon struggled with a bunch of other classmates bullying them rather incessantly. It felt like their only friend at the time was their twin brother, Elias. At first Devon didn’t understand what it was about them that meant the other children wanted to treat them this way, but after arriving home one night and bursting into tears in front of their mom, Mille Rose gave her child a hug and pulled them into her lap. Devon still remembers how much stronger they felt after that talk with their mom, and how because of it they learnt to grow a thicker skin and to not let anyone try and tell them that they’re better than them.
When Devon reached high school they had grown a lot in confidence and were realising more and more about who they were. They made new friends in freshman year and tried to branch out a bit by joining a few extracurriculars like swimming, track, theatre, and the literary magazine. It was in their senior year that they built up the courage to come out to as non-binary and pansexual. They had already come out around a year earlier to their family, who had, to no one's surprise, wholeheartedly accepted them. When Devon neared the end of school they applied for multiple scholarships and financial aid because deep down they had always wanted to go to college to study something like Psychology or Anthropology. Unfortunately, their grades weren’t quite good enough to ensure the financial aid. At the time, Devon made a big deal about not being able to afford to go to college, picking a fight with their mom that they immediately regretted. It had ended with Devon storming off and staying with a friend a couple of nights before they gathered the courage to return and apologise to Millie. Devon hadn’t meant any of the things they’d said to their mother. They had just been feeling overwhelmed, upset, and angry at the world.
