Let’s Talk || Devon and Mya
Devon was fine now, or for now rather they’d found something to eat. Burgers and fries, greasy and perfect for the hangovers they were both sporting. Devon was unsure of himself once again, he didn’t know this woman but yet he’d married her the night before. She was very beautiful of course but the whole thing from what they could piece together went from a very bizarre 0 to 100 quickly. As they ate he groaned, holding out his hand for hers surveying the wedding band, “Why is this ring so tacky? I assure you non-drunk me has much better taste than that. Not that it matters, but you can take it off you know? I won’t be offended I promise.” He went back to chewing on fries, before a thought occurred to him.
“Mya?” The name still felt weird on his tongue, “You don’t know what your last name is do you?” He tried not to smirk, it wasn’t funny; okay it was a little funny. But he doubted she even asked for his last name last night let alone remembered it.
