If Dark Choco doesn’t appear in the next story episode I’m rioting

Motivational Avoidance vs Manipulating Action (a deep dive of gingerbrave and dark enchantress cookie)

first of all this is not a ship, and this is an other half in the context of their motivations not their physical connection, so do not get it confused! Ok let’s go!

Let’s start with ovenbreak first, while gingerbrave is deadset on keeping cookies from the wicked truth of the witches baking some cookies to be consumed Dec not only informs but wants to take action, getting rid of all consumption of cookies all together with any means necessary

this is because they both saw the wicked truth, heck gingerbrave is walking proof of this truth with him being the most common cookie to be consumed in this reality of cookies, the only gingerbrave we actually saw take action on the consumption of cookies was back with 2009/2011 ob gb, I know I bring him up a lot but I mean do you blame me, he was built different back then with him not only able to take down a whole witches army but being able to kill a witch himself

And dark enchantress cookie herself has shown to kill witches aswell so they’re both god killers in a way

What’s most interesting is that crob dec and gb have never met, it’s made clear by Dark enchantress cookie having a relationship chart line with gingerbrave but he doesn’t have one back to her and she’s mostly secluded more than kingdom dec

He has never mentioned himself that some cookies are made to be eaten and Dec has mentioned it numerous times making it specifically clear, while dec could use gb hatred for the witches to make him join her what will that do exactly since it seems crob Dec doesn’t know gb’s potential like kingdom does

sure she made crob licorice cookie follow him but that only proved to be useful to get info on longan dragon cookie apparently by the new story, and what’s interesting is that yes she knows about his escape from the oven before it was shown by her reaction, I think she is well aware he’s a cookie to be consumed but doesn’t do much about it right now since she’s busy

However!

If whatever she saw in the mirror in that story was the ultimate cookie then she will now know gingerbrave is important and what’s interesting is that crob gb will most likely fall into dec’s traps more easily that crk gb since he’s not as aware of her existence as kingdom’s is, only problem is that her ego is too big for her to actually try anything really manipulative outside of herself so we shall see what that entails

and now for the kingdom portion, oh god here we go!

first of all can we address how she stares right at a cake with the decoration on it being gingerbrave in timeless kingdom!? And it’s not even like a side dish it’s the main course, SHE KNOWS SOMETHING WE DON’T ABOUT HIM THAT SHE DIDNT ADDRESS OR DEVSISTERS FORGOT!

Then in the exact same episode just flat out just says cookies are made to be eaten and look at gb’s reaction, oh my god this is why I loved crispias story than beast-yeast, it handled dec and gb so well as parallels of eachother, one that wants to fight on the truth and one that wants to lie to avoid it, back to the cake decoration you cannot tell me dec knew exactly what she was doing not only making him on a cake that’s edible but making it the main thing right in the middle, just putting in our faces she knows gb was made to be eaten and she expected gb to agree with her here since they’re on equal footing

Now this, it didn’t click to me actually that this was both alluding to gingerbrave and Dec since they’re both cookies that escaped the oven, well played, I’ll give you that

Then these parrellels, AUGH- Devsisters knew exactly what they were doing when they did this god damn! I have a damn well feeling since gingerbrave is in the spot of Willy for the act 2 trailer this is not the end of the parrellels only the beginning, I have a feeling gb will follow in dec’s footsteps but in his own way, but first he will have to address his past of the oven and the witch that created him, I don’t know if it’s gonna be shadow witch or Matilda that created him since stories can change but just remember we never saw his backstory fully, and I hope they reveal it fully in act 2 or 3, please since act 3 is leaning to going back to the witches castle I need this!

Now let’s address something that I’ve been keeping to myself for a long time, why did de suddenly switch on gb acting more malicious then in her battle interactions and dialogue before? Well I believe while in the witch form she was way more malicious, obviously since she started crumbling cookies on sight literally what goes against her motivation, she was slowly loosing her sanity the more she used baking magic and the more she was in that witch form, it really showed by her using failed dough to try to delay the armies arrival and the control devices on the dough trio, I have a hunch that this isn’t the last we will see of Dec, not as herself but as a devil on gb’s shoulder in his mind probably in act 3 telling him that she was right all along and witches are manacle creatures of flesh and blood since gb is the closest cookie that will understand her the most and has the power to act on it since he was first hand the one to witness it all and most likely do something since in the cutscene video we can see the castle being thrashed about from the outside, he put up a fight

anyways that’s all I could gather so far that doesn’t beat a dead horse, I hope and pray crob gb and Dec meet please Devsisters I’m begging you, their interaction will be glorious and even more interesting since it’ll be after act 2 and it’s prepping that maybe crob gb will make an appearance, or maybe I’m just coping, bye bye
