Di Como
Un dia que volíem sortir i no gastar gaire. I no ens va sortir del tot malament. Un correcte restaurant italià sense complicacions.
Birrificio Di Como Como (CO) - Birre d’Italia
Di Como was next on our list. No one had recommended we go, or said anything about the brewery really. Our only knowledge of the brewery was their chestnut ale, Birolla, which was one of the first chestnut ales we've ever tried.
We find it, after trying to drive in a busy after work rush while it was raining in a somewhat more congested city than we've met so far. We walk in and the place is HUGE! I mean we're taking the Gordon-Biersch-of-Italy-HUGE.
We were originally sitting at the bar you see under the enormous television screen, but again the bartenders got freaked out and told us we couldn't order food to the bar, and made us move to a table. (Later on we saw them serve a single guy there dinner... but oh well.) Again, not sitting at the bar is such a weird thing, why do they even have stools then?
The beers we tried were pretty standard, a lager, a wheat, an amber.
