I would have loved a dialogue tone available other than paragon and renegade because I keep thinking about a Shepard that like…barely speaks.
“I’m interested in Eden prime.”
“-… but how safe is it really?”
“I don’t know, I’ve never been.”
Or with the Consort, after her little declaration an option to simply say “Thanks”, silently stop her sex proposal, and leave without another word.
I’d like to think she’d be so enraptured with your response she’d send you a few emails alluding to sex. If you ignore them she eventually speaks plainly about being interested in spending the night with you. You can either choose to accept her proposal and get that cutscene or there’s special dialogue you can overhear on the crew deck once the offer expires about how you turned down the famous Consort.
I think a mysterious Shepard that kind of makes everyone nervous socially but their actions speak so loud everyone comes to know they can rely on them. Something like on Garrus’ loyalty mission if you’re doing the mysterious persona he takes the shot but you can chose to step into the shot and brunt it without flinching to show how serious you are.
It’s a Shepard that gives you no information to work with. One that is coldly, almost eerily formal with the council no matter what thinly veiled insult they toss their way.
They aren’t cruel or manipulative, simply serious and mysterious but they obviously still care about the crew. I don’t know what the options would be called though.
But after they die in the beginning of ME2 they lighten up a little in their dialogue.
