bring back pathetic yearning men 🤌
Diaphon would worship the ground Kaspar slithered over if he asked. Unfortunately, Kaspar would much rather he give back his lamp and let him go, to be set free.
A shame that's the one thing Diaphon cannot do.

Arxydula - Diaphon based on "dead mans fingers" mushrooms
"Colloquially known as Angels of Death. They move continuously, slowly, and with precision. They appear to consume dead organic matter of all kinds, but are especially drawn to diaphon corpses."
please enjoy this kind-of-animation that took way too long
There’s a trend on Instagram where you draw two characters in the opposing negative spaces of an apple core… so I added my own twist 💔
the prince 🌙
diaphon the psycho that you are <3
full version here ~
His Highness, the Prince Diaphon
The mattress shifted from the added weight of the prince, now seated at the foot of Kaspar’s bed. Kaspar could feel his gaze upon him, but gave no acknowledgement of it. “Teach me,” the prince suddenly said, his voice both softer yet fiercer than what Kaspar imagined. It fell into the pillowy silence of the room, absorbed in it. At first, Kaspar did not want to reply. Though a hint perplexed by the question, he stayed exactly where he was, motionless, hoping his lack of a response would make the prince go away. Leave me alone. If you needed me, you would rub the lamp and tell me to do whatever you want. I refuse to do anything for you I am not forced to. The prince, however, met Kaspar’s stubbornness with his own, without moving either. Minutes dragged on like this, in this obstinate game of tug of war in a test of their wills. How much longer will it take? Kaspar wondered, shifting awkwardly. He risked glancing up, to check if the prince was still staring at him, or perhaps looking elsewhere and lost in thought. Luck did not favor the naga: their eyes met. Kaspar briefly considered turning away again, but if he did so he was not sure he would be able to stay still anymore, not while knowing he was being looked at like this the entire time. Hissing, he scowled instead, “About what?” The prince leaned slightly closer with an unreadable expression, but still staring at Kaspar intently. He had expected some sort of long, specific question, something related to djinn magic and what he could or could not do for him, but what the prince said instead caught him completely off-guard. The prince then said simply: “About the outside world.”
(version without clothes and process video under cut just because I liked my anatomy sketch too much to leave it unrendered)
he wasn’t jealous before they met 😔
the emperor of the known world yearns for you
do you
reciprocate affection (maybe you can fix him to be better than his ancestors)
leave him hanging without an answer (you're evil. aren't you.)
run away (he'll spiral into madness and start a war to win you back)
