Malleus is quite forgetful and, at times, you could even say he has his head in the clouds—but his emotional memory is incredibly strong. Malleus never forgets the dates on which he experienced powerful emotions. Even centuries later, he will remember them. That’s why, if you want him to definitely remember at least the time and place of a meeting you set with him, invite him formally—and preferably in writing. We all know how important such old-fashioned details are to our young lord.
And even if he does end up being late to the meeting, it’s certainly not because he forgot or because “handsome princes are supposed to be late.” Not at all. The truth is that our dragon-like young master simply got a little too nervous and lost track of himself. And given the different perception of time that fae have, such delays can sometimes turn into something downright outrageous.
But let’s talk about the first time Malleus received an invitation from you after a long while. He needed a good ten minutes just to process what was happening. At first, Draconia couldn’t believe that he was holding a letter addressed to him—from his beloved rose. Then he began opening the envelope so delicately, as if one wrong move would cause it to vanish and dissolve into time itself. After that, he would carefully take out the letter and slowly read it.
Involuntarily, he would read attentively, soaking in every word as if searching for hidden meaning—despite the fact that the letter was simply an invitation to become the prefect’s partner in a small upcoming alchemy event. Since you didn’t understand such things very well and still needed the grade, you decided to turn to your “close friend” (who are we kidding—clearly that wasn’t the only reason you sent him the letter). Still, Malleus read with his heart and emotions rather than his mind, so the young lord had to reread the letter four times to fully grasp its meaning.
After finishing it, Draconia’s mood would visibly lift. He would practically glow. Folding the letter as neatly as possible, he would place it into the drawer of his writing desk—which would later become a kind of shrine, complete with a lock.
You don’t know this, but Malleus collects and keeps every letter you’ve ever written to him. The very first one is given its own frame and a place on the wall. The others eventually move from the drawer into an album, and the album is then placed back into a locked drawer—the key to which will, from that moment on, hang around the young lord’s neck like an ornament.
Upon receiving his first, seemingly simple invitation from his beloved, Malleus will inevitably rush to share this breathtaking news with Lilia, just as he always did in his childhood. What seems like a completely ordinary request on a classmate level, Malleus certainly doesn’t see that way. He treats it as if you invited him on a date (which, in a way, you did). He will thoroughly torment his grandfather over every little detail, to the point where Lilia starts questioning the mental stability of his “hatchling.”
At first, Lilia will happily guide the fledgling, but eventually Malleus’s excessive anxiety over every tiny thing will drive him to give the youngster a sobering flick on the forehead, along with some grand advice and a polite request to kindly fuck off. Malleus will then have to struggle through all his worries on his own: what to wear, how to speak, how to smell—and what terrifying consequences might follow from any of it.
He will be late.
With all this anxiety, Malleus will forget not only about the time, but also to send a reply letter—causing you to become anxious instead.

you’ll think, just before the worried dragon—still unable to decide what would look “proper”—suddenly appears in front of you more abruptly than usual.
Malleus is apparently over at Ramshackle enough to listen to Yuu tell "tales" of their home world. Sleepover possibilities are not discouraged here.
So if Malleus has stayed overnight and gave Sebek the heart attack of the century, would he hum that lullaby? The very lullaby his mother and father figure has sang to him?
Malleus was waiting for the child of man and found himself bored. He began humming peacefully to pass the time. Yuu does eventually race out of the Ramshackle dorm, smiling as they greeted their horned friend.
"Hey Tsunotaro, sorry I was late!"
"Greetings child of man, I hope you're doing well tonight." The dragon fae smiled as he looked down to meet his friend's gaze. "The moon is lovely, isn't it?"
The underpaid shrimp(as Floyd will call them) looks up to the sky to see a beautiful full moon. "Yes, it is."
"So," Yuu smiled before turning their undivided attention to Malleus, "What are we doing together tonight?" Malleus came to a frown, realizing the time.
"My apologies child of man, but I must be returning to my dorm before the witching hour. It's far too late for me to stay any longer."
Yuu was confused now. "Why did you stay so long for me then?" The prefect felt a bit bad for taking so long just because Grim was struggling to fall asleep.
"I wanted to say goodnight before I left." Malleus leans down to Yuu, his eyes drifting along Yuu's face before returning to that unbreaking eye contact. "I hope that we will be able to make up for the list time tomorrow."
Yuu felt even worse. They wanted to spend more time with the horned fairy, but it feels like each night takes longer than before, leaving less time for the two to talk.
"Good night child of ma-" "Will you have a sleepover with me?" Yuu stood strong, not wanting to lose anymore chances from talking to their mysterious pal.
"Pardon? A... sleepover?" Malleus has heard of the sleeping over activity humans entertain themselves with with family and friends. "Is this another one of your spontaneous invitations to get me to stay longer again?"
The smug smile on Malleus's face reach ear to ear, but he was very excited inside. Yuu's answer was blunt, much like anything anything else they did.
"Yes, yes it is." The human grabbed Malleus' hand, dragging him inside of Ramshackle. "I'll message Lilia that you're staying here with me."
Malleus was always amused by Yuu's behavior and was always happy to accept their sudden invitations.
As the two walked inside of Ramshackle, the progress Yuu and Grim has made was noticable as there was no longer broken furniture. There was also less leakage since Malleus helped the Ramshackle residents to putting the gargoyles back into proper function.
"Child of man, where will I be staying for the night?" Malleus' gaze hovers around the lounge of the dorm, wondering where will be his resting place for the night.
Yuu points beside the couch. "We could sleep on the floor here."
"The floor? Is it common for humans to sleep on the floor?" Malleus was surprised at the idea.
"Not directly on the floor. There's still going to be blankets and a mattress. There's one that should be big enough for the both of us."
Yuu started to move the couch and surrounding wood made pieces to make an open space for the mattress. "Can you help me bring it down here?"
Malleus smiled and nodded his head, always glad to help this little human. "I still wonder how you do not fear me and ask me to do such tasks."
"You don't have to then Tsunotaro." The human spoke in a happy tone with a bit of confusion as their strange friend reasked this question. They wondered if people genuinely find him scary.
After a while, everything was set in the lounge and Yuu decided to ask the question they wondered for so long. "Tsunotaro, why do you imply that people are scared of you? How could you be scary?"
"Eh?" Malleus looked up from his burrito blanket moment. He was a bit stuck.
"How- How did you get into that position??" Yuu giggled. "Don't worry, I'll help you out."
After Yuu untied Malleus from his accidental cocoon, they spoke up again. "So about my question- HOW ARE YOU BACK IN THE COCOON."
"I do not know." Malleus was trying to evade the question so that Yuu wouldn't start from him. He couldn't bear losing his friend.

Malleus Draconia . ݁ ˖
⤷ Lean Build - It's canon that Malleus is 6'6" (202cm), but considering he's a fae (dragon in this case), he isn't too bulky. Sure, he does have a bit of muscle due to the magical benefits (as Vargas advocates), but he majorly prioritises his magical skill itself. That being said, his height does play a part in his build - he gained a bit of muscle so he wouldn't look too lanky (he honestly still does).
⤷ Sleep Position - He absolutley cannot sleep on his back. This is due to his horns. Just imagine it, his head would be raised in an uncomfortable manner cause his horns would just be holding him up. Or, if he did try and force it, he would have the most uncomfortable neck pain ever.
⤷ Scales - He has dark dragon scales adorning his skin in various places, such as on his scalp around his horns. Additionally, he has scales on his crotch, shoulders, back of his neck, hips and his wrists spreading a bit over the back of his hands. They subtly shine in the sunlight, giving a sort of iridescent sheen.
⤷ Tail - With magic, he can conceal his dragon-like tail, which is what he typically does at school. However, when he's tired or just lazy (which admittedly isn't often), he has it revealed. It's larger than one would think, considering it's more adjusted for his dragon form, but it is shrunk considerably than the real size. At times, it even drags behind him. But it carries the same dark scales that adorns his skin, with a few uneven flared-spikes.
⤷ Fangs - He has sharp, vampiric fangs throughout his mouth. They aren't particularly uneven or uncomfortable, but he does have enlarged canines all across mouth (image at the end of the post for reference).

⤷ Two Dicks - Many lizards (and snakes) have something called a hemipenis, which is one of a pair of intromittent organs of male squamates (snakes and lizards). An intromittent organ is any external organ of a male organism that is intended to deliver sperm during copulation. Usually, hempenes are held inverted within the body, and are everted for reproduction via erectile tissue.

⤷ Bat Ears - Not the human protruding ears thing, but literal bat ears. He has amazing hearing because of it, most prominently to high-pitched noises. Raising squealing babies and noisy toddlers wasn't the most easy thing because of it. But little Silver slowly learnt how to send messages to him through other bats and a poor attempt at his own echolocation (it was cute regardless of being unsuccesful). Fortunately Silver forgot how to do that when he got older, seen when he and Sebek found a baby bat (Lilia's dorm outfit vignette).
⤷ Fangs - By human standard, his teeth are really fucked up. He has two sharp front teeth that are smaller than the surrounding two fangs. Those fangs are slightly too big for his mouth, and often stick out. The rest of his teeth are very uneven as well as sharp. No amount of braces could save him and he's frankly happy about that, not wanting to 'correct' them anyways.
⤷ Short Fur - While only a little amount, he does have some patches of fur on several parts of his body. Such as the back of his neck, his wrists, his thighs and a bit on his back and chest (it's giving dad hair).
⤷ Glammed Up Nails - They're quite sharp, and shockingly those sharp long nails aren't fake. But he absolutely ADORES having them painted with accessories on them. Especially if it's done by someone he cares about. Especially Silver, who's really the only one out of his kids who does like to decorate them. Not as much since he grew older, but when he was little he would (very poorly) decorate them to resemble different animals.
Sebek Zigvolt ⋆˚࿔
⤷ Fangs - He has very sharp fangs, yet unlike Lilia, the rest of his teeth are really well maintained and quite straight. It's both because his dad is a dentist (his mother being his assistant) and because his dad is human. So he has significantly less fae-features than Lilia or Malleus, which extends to his teeth.
⤷ Static-y - He zaps people so often when touching them. Just a little shock. Like when you roll around on carpet then zap someone. This surprises a lot of people, especially Yuu when they attempted to fist-bump Sebek (he didn't accept it and Yuu thought Sebek was just punishing them).
⤷ Roman Nose - Pretty self-explanatory, but he has a roman nose. Just has those vibes.
⤷ Mild to Severe Acne - Okay hear me out, teenage (16 year old) boy whose skin isn't clear. Shocking. He has tried skin care before to try and match Silver, but he honestly didn't understand it. His dental hygiene is amazing since he's always been raised with understanding the importance of it, but skincare? That's far too foreign.

He's what people would consider 'perfect' in many aspects - also I’ve been told on my TikTok this is pretty mischaracterised so ignore it if you want
⤷ 'Perfection' - His teeth, skin, nails, lips, etc. are all so healthy and clean with such little effort. He has a very short skincare routine that he only just started, a very minimal dental routine, and nothing to support the rest of his appearance. It's mostly because he's too lazy and just wants to sleep whenever he gets the chance, usually too tired to set a routine. Yet he still fits the beauty standards to the maximum.
⤷ Soulless Eyes - Most would imagine since he's based off of Aurora/Prince Phillip he would have big, bubbly, soulful eyes that fit the Disney theme. However, I think in turn he would have a completely (hilariously), unintentional death stare whenever he's spacing out or looking to someone for something (usually Malleus). For the latter, he's like that one cop in 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' where he will scan the entire area then lock onto someone, approaching them at rapid speeds. He absolutely TERRIFIES first-years who haven't heard of him. But everyone who's been at school with him for a year or longer know that's just how he is.
⤷ Occasional Greasy Hair - Sometimes he's just a lil too tired (or lazy) to wash his hair. That's all. It's not often, but it's not incredibly rare either. Sebek cherishes those times where he notices his mildly greasy hair, really the only time he doesn't fit the beauty standard. Sebek also kind of bullies him when it happens (brotherly).

First date:
Surprisingly to no one, your first date is a picnic on a warm Sunday afternoon. A safe place where both of you can enjoy some fresh air, and where Silver can fall asleep and be comfortable.
Also surprisingly to no one, as soon as you both sit down to eat, wild animals start gathering around looking for your boyfriend’s attention, asking for pets and some snacks; which would be cute if a random (huge) boar didn’t plop on top of the blanket you were sitting on along with his piglets.
So there you were: Silver, you, and an entire zoo.
Fortunately though, they were all very respectful and kept to themselves when Silver told them patiently that he would not be able to tend to them as much as he usually would since he wasn’t alone.
The animals took a liking to you quite quickly, since they saw that you meant no harm, and some of them even laid on your lap and let you pet them or rubbed their little heads on your back or just nuzzled your hand and cheeks asking for pets or attention.
It was very peaceful overall, thankfully the weather was nice as well, so you could say that your first date was a success, especially if you took into account how Silver looked at you when you say goodbye for the day and he softly kissed your lips to say goodbye.
Sleepover
Sleepovers with the 1st years are a common occurrence since you tend to study together for finals. Some of the others return to their dorms, like Epel, who knows that he has to or Vil will make him make a presentation about the importance of a 10 step skincare routine again because he could not be bothered to take all his skincare products to Diasomnia; or like Jack, who has a strict morning routine he always follows and cannot do that if he’s sleeping over. In your case though, you usually stay over at Silver’s dorm since it’s more convenient.
Ace and Deuce usually stay as well since they usually need to stay up past curfew (they always tell Riddle that they’re staying over though, getting beheaded is not something they look forward to, ever).
So usually study sessions end up in a very “unromantic” pile of tired teenagers who just want to sleep after hours trying to memorize, except that they’re not so unromantic when everyone else is sleeping and you’re next to the window watching the clouds go by the night sky with Silver, whispering about nonsense just to pass the time while huddled up in a blanket.
Silver doesn’t stay awake very long, but he tries to so he can keep talking to you, even if it’s only for a short while, because he truly cherishes those moments where there is only the two of you, even if he doesn’t say so out loud. You’ll end up cuddling on one of the mattresses on the floor or over a pile of blankets and pillows (which will make you regret staying up so late and not sleeping on a sofa or a mattress like anyone else, only you though, Silver can sleep everywhere) by the end of and waking up to Sebek’s characteristic “GOOD MORNING MY LIEGE”; which, is a bit annoying but if you prepare ahead and pack yourself some nice ear plugs you can still hear him but without your eardrums collapsing.
Possessiveness
Silver is not possessive per se, but he does like keeping you close when he can. He’s always been surrounded by people and everything he’s ever done or had has been shared with others, and it’s not that he dislikes sharing, not at all, he thinks sharing the things you love is beautiful, but with you, he finds that sometimes he likes it better when it’s just you and him enjoying a moment of quiet.
Also, since you’re his first relationship, he’s a bit unsure on how to act; he wants to give you space because he knows that no one should restrict their lover’s (or anyone’s) freedom for their comfort, but he also doesn’t want to look detached or uninterested in your relationship, so finding the balance between nosy and clingy and cold and uninterested is a bit hard for him.
Silver knows he can act a bit aloof sometimes, but overall, he really tries (and succeeds) to show that he cares while maintaining healthy boundaries.
Kissing him
Silver’s kisses are always soft and warm, albeit sometimes a bit weird feeling when he forgets to use chapstick and his lips get a bit dry.
He likes kissing your lips and occasionally your hand, but he adores kissing your cheeks. He’ll give you a quick peck on the cheek if he’s in a hurry because he’s late to class, or he’ll softly press one kiss after another on your face to wake you up after a night studying or stargazing.
He also loves to kiss you when you’re laughing; he just can’t resist when he sees you so happy and filled with unfiltered uncontained happiness.
You truly are one of the most important things in his life and whenever he can, he makes sure to remind you just how special you are.
