(Raiden shōgun no kōkei-sha/The Successor to the Raiden Shogun)
TRIGGER WARNING FOR DEATH, SPOILERS FOR EI'S LORE, SPOILERS FOR GENSHIN, AND INFANTILIZING READER!
Inazuma feared you, some still do. You're human, much like a majority of the nation's residents, but you're far above humanity at the same time. A confusing thing, a human with humanity in reach but you lack it as if you were a doll.
In a way, that's sort of right. You're a doll. You're fragile to the point servants watch your every step despite you being grown. You're beautiful, but the kind of beauty that people only admire from a distance and are forbidden from touching. You're quiet, so much so that people often believe you are incapable of speaking. You can speak, you just never get the chance. Instead, your "mother" speaks on your behalf. Well, the puppet she left behind does anyway.
Yes, the mortals beauty known by nicknames such as the "Beautiful Heir", "The Beauty of Inazuma", or sometimes "Doll Shogun". That last one bothers you, being called a doll. You know they don't mean it as an insult, you know they mean it as a compliment, comparing you to a beautiful doll. But, it bothers you, because to you a doll isn't a thing of beauty, it's a thing of horrors. Sure, it has been centuries since you saw your mother in the flesh, but her puppet is always there, making sure you never leave Tenshukaku.
All your life, the puppet, Raiden Shogun, has been watching everyone and everything around you, treating you as if you are incapable of acting on your own despite being an adult for two hundred years now. It's hard, you feel like you're not allowed to be mad at a puppet following the directions of your mother Ei, but on the other hand the puppet is her, same hair, same face, same voice, same everything but cold and empty.
"Where are you going, child?" The puppet asks.
"I was going to visit Aunt Miko at the shrine," you tell it.
"It is almost sunset You know the rules, you are not to venture outside the grounds three hours before sunset," it responds.
You take a deep breath. You want to yell that you can do whatever you want because you're a grown adult, but you know where that leads, a duel and however long your mother dictates in the Plane of Euthymia, alone. So, you sigh and turn away from the door and towards the dinning room. You sit next to the puppet, who insists on being at the head of the table despite not being able or need to eat, and look at your food.
"I thought I asked the chef for a sashimi platter," you tell a servant.
"I am sorry, Kokeisha Reader but the chef received new orders," the servant explains.
You didn't bothering asking who gave the new orders. You knew your mother used to puppet to change your orders, she always did that, ever since you were small. She controlled everything about your life, so you missed out on so much. But, you just took it. You quietly ate your food while the puppet just watched creepily.
"I am full. I am going to my room," you say.
"No," the puppet says.
"Why not?" You ask.
"Your plate is still full for food. I will not have my child underfed," the puppet says.
You go to argue back but the puppet shoots you a cold look. Your argument dies in your throat and you go back to your spot at the table, but you don't eat. You just stare at your food. You can feel the puppet's glass eyes staring into your soul but you can't bring yourself to eat while a pit forms in your stomach.
"I told you, I'm full. I cannot eat anymore. I am going to my room," you grumble out.
"And I said that I do not want my child underfed. So you will eat and I will watch until every grain of rice is gone," the puppet says.
You try to get up from the table but your legs won't move. So, with no other choice you grab your chopsticks and starts eating what's left of your food until everything is gone. You push the bowl towards the puppet and it nods, the go ahead to leave the table. You stand up, bow to your "mother" and walk to your bedroom, slaming your door shut.
"I wonder what our nation are like now? I bet our people are wonderful, and I wonder what the humans and yokai are up to?" You ask yourself.
Your mind runs wild with thoughts of the kinds of things the people of Inazuma did all day, working, laughing, enjoying the nation and each other, all while you could do nothing but watch from your window. You did this often, just watching people live their lives with joy and freedom you were never allowed. It made your heart ache so much, but you couldn't tell anyone. The servants tell that puppet everything so you have no one.
You think back to the last time you were free, to the last time you were allowed to live freely and it was when you were a young child. You don't have many memories from back then, but you do remember the night your mother told you your aunt had died. The violet eyes that were once full of passionate maternal love and light were cold and empty that day.
The menoto rocked you gently, trying to shush you. You squirmed in her arms. You missed you aunt and your mom and you haven't seen either of them in awhile. The war was scary but it's been over and now your mother and aunt were gods!
The scent of ozone filled the space as a door opened. You and the menoto both turned your heads and there, standing in the door frame was your mother. You ran and hugged her legs, but she doesn't hug you back, instead she fell to the floor with tears in her eyes as she held you close. There, on that floor is when you were told your aunt was dead.
But, more then that it was the same floor where your mother died and in her place a cold, empty husk came into existence that only cares about keeping everything as it is, including you. Despite being an adult you never got a seijinshiki, your outfits are still in the style of children's clothing, everything about your life is stuck as if you're a child with no sense or free will and not an adult with the blood of an archon running through your veins!
You sit on your futon and just stare at the ceiling of your room in silence. A festival is happening tonight, and as normal your "mother" told you that you couldn't go. It's unfair, you do everything "she" asks and yet the on time you dare to ask to leave, with servants and guards, you get told no. Your powers flare up as you vent your anger by screaming into your pillow. Once done you collect yourself and sneak out of your room and into the servant quaters.
"Hey, Shojiro! I need a favor!" You whisper yell to a servant.
"Yes, Kokeisha Reader. What is it you need?" Shojiro asks.
You ask for his clothing. Confused Shojiro asks why and you tell him that he owes you this favor. He shrugs and hands over a set of his work clothes. You run back to your room and put the clothes on, the rougher materials rubbing against your skin in a way you've never felt before. Then you go to one of your handmaidens, Hana, and have her tie your hair in a braid and put makeup on your face until you can barely recognize your own reflection in your copper mirror.
You thank them and grab your geta. Now, you have to find a way to sneak out to the festival. Thinking, you notice kitchen servants going between the outside and and kitchen. You sneak into the kitchen and do everything you can to blend in with the servants. Once outside you break away and run through the grounds, dodging guards, until you reach the gates. You duck behind a rock and wait until the gates are opened and once they are you quickly sneak out and once on the other side you run as fast as you can to the festival.
"It's beautiful," you quietly say.
You put your geta on and start walking around the festival. The lights of the lanterns cast a golden glow over everyone and everything. Children, both yokai and human, run by with snacks and prizes while adults drink to their hearts content. You explore every single inch of the festival, playing games, eating snacks you'd never tasted before.
Then, the fireworks start. You stare at the sky with wide eyes as colors explode against the inky blackness of the sky. You can't rip your eyes away from the sky no matter how bright the colors become. You can't help but basket in the light of the fireworks with everyone else as for once in your life after the horrible day you feel free and you feel happy. Then you smell ozone, and the sky goes dark as the fireworks stop and people murmur in confusion.
"Reader! Come here, this instant!" A powerful voice orders.
Your head snaps towards the voice and you freeze. Standing tall a d powerful amongst the crowd is your "mother", flanked by guards on both sides. You don't move, you can't. She repeats the order while staring at you but you still don't move. You look around for help but no one dares interrupt the Raiden Shogun. Eventually your legs start working again but instead of moving towards the puppet to take off like a bat out of hell in the other direction.
"Come back here!" Raiden yells.
You run as fast as you can but the geta get in the way so you ditch them and run faster through town as the guards are got on your trail like a pack of rabid wolves. Sticks and rocks stab your feet but you don't care, all you care about is getting away. Then, something fast zips past you face and lands with a thunk in the ground. You freeze and turn around briefly, only to be met with Sara pointing her loaded bow at you.
"By the order of the Raiden Shogun, you are to turn yourself in," she orders.
"But I'm the Kokeisha, I don't have to take orders from you!" You yell back as your powers flare up.
Sara doesn't seem to care as she repeats the order. In panic and anger you go to use your powers only for someone to grab you. You thrash and squirm only to see your "mother" holding you while glaring down at you. Each time you try to free yourself nothing happens except her grip getting tighter until you feel like she'll break your wrists. Once you stop moving, she whispers a slow, emotionless apology before a burning, electric pain shoots through every inch of your body before the world goes black and the smell of ozone fills your nose.
By the time you wake up every part of your body hurts and the sun is daring to shine through the windows. Your eyes flicker around the room and you quietly figure that it's yours. You try and sit up but the pain is bad, not so bad you scream but bad enough to make you whimper loudly. At your whimpers a cluster of servants come in with trays of creams and medicines in bottles. You finally get a look at your arms and see them covered in bandages.
"What happened?" You ask.
"You had an accident in a storm, Kokeisha Reader," a servant says.
"But there weren't any storms last night. There was a festival that night. I saw fireworks! " You shout.
The servants don't respond, instead focusing more on changing your bandages, applying the creams, and giving you medicine that numbs your body. All the while, Ei watches from the Plane of Euthymia, a slight pang of guilt popping up in her chest. Though it is quickly replaced by delusions of having no other choice.
"They will thank me for this, someday," she says to no one.
She might be right, someday you might thank her for this amd everything else. For now though, you hate her and this with ever burning spark in your soul.
So, I've seen Lohen's trailers and.... this man is a yandere and I don't mean in an au.
I mean, it is my personal belief (which means it's objectively correct/s) that this man is a yandere for the people he loves, platonic, romantic, whatever and he is the kind of tandere to deliver actual body parts as gifts, preserved in his own ice.
I think leftists need to refer to the United States as a slave state more often. It has one of the highest prison populations per capita of any nation, slavery is legal as punishment for a crime, and Black people are disproportionately imprisoned and given longer sentences. The prison industrial complex is modern-day slavery
It’s important to note that this is a poster on a glass window. It’s very important to note that the (fuck yeah) and the (fuck them white supremacists) have been written in with a pen by someone on said poster.
Happy pride to those out and not. Know you are loved by people out there and that being yourself is not a crime or something to be ashamed of. Your community is out there, and we can't wait to meet you.
So, Reki and Langa had, by now, been dating for almost a year. They're happy together and never want to be without each other. Then you came along.
You're a kid from their school who works at the convenience store they like to frequent. You didn't know they were dating, so you felt nothing when you got a crush on Reki. Something about his bold, brash, rogue-like charm drew you in hook, line, and sinker. Now, Reki never noticed you had a crush on him, because he was too busy with the guilt that ate at him because he was feeling something like what he felt for Langa but for you now.
"What's wrong with me? Why do I want to kiss some cashier when I have a boyfriend?!" He asked himself often.
He tried his best to ignore the fluttering in his heart and heat in his cheeks that popped up every time he saw you, whether at school or your job. He felt like scum for feeling like this , because he felt like he was cheating on Langa but wanting to do the things he did with Langa, but with you instead.
At the same time, you try and work up the nerve to actually talk to Reki but every time you try, your brain stops working and you end up looking dumb. But, you won't give up that easy, so you keep trying your best to actually talk to him while he tries to get over this crush he has on you while he has a perfectly fine boyfriend already.
Then, a month later, it happens. You start talking to him. He's polite and goes along with it, and as you talk you two find that you share a look of things in common. For you, this is a dream, for Reki, this is a nightmare. You just keep worming your way into his heart when all he wants to do is be rid of these feelings. But, things are never simple, because you also had a crush on Langa.
Though, talking to him was a bit easier, it was a bit more awkward. Langa also went along with this, though something in him was drawn to you, the same way he was drawn to Reki. This confused him, why was he feeling this way about you when he already had Reki. So, now the pair has a crush on you the other doesn't know about and you have a crush on both of them, though all of you suck at proper communication.
Things come to a head three months later. The boys are buying their usual snacks, and when you hand Reki his receipt, you put your phone number on it with a "call me ♥️" under it. Reki's face turns pink and he quickly shoves it in his pocket before he and Langa leave.
He can feel it burning a hole in his pocket, guilt eating away at him rabid animals. He looks at Langa, and he feels even more guilty.
Two weeks later Langa comes in alone, and you give him your number too. He at this point has started to feel icky about this crush, feeling like he was the worst for doing this to Reki. You had no idea about the guilt, you just wanted to shoot your shot with two hot boys.
Neither of them called you. Instead they let the receipts get lost or buried under junk as they each tried to bury the feelings that weighed them down. You were upset at first, but you got over it eventually.
It takes almost a month before Reki tells Langa.
"Langa, I have to tell you something," Reki says, a bit nervous.
"What is it?" Langa asks.
"IhaveacrushonthecashierfromtheconveniencestoreandtheygavemetheirnumberbutIstillloveyou! I'msosososorry!" He says in a panic.
Langa gently places a hand on Reki's shoulder, and tells him that he had been feeling something similar. So, there in Reki's room they talk about their crushes on you, walking themselves through it as they figure out what to do. As they talk, they think of your smile, the things you three have in common, and how kind yet fearless you are.
By the end, there is only one conclusion, if they both liked you maybe you liked them both, so that means you three could potentially be together. But, they had no idea if this would work. For all they know you might want to date only one of them and if they ask about you dating both of them, there's the potential you'll be uncomfortable and then things would really be awkward. But, they had to at least ask, because maybe you would want both of them. But they'd never know unless they ask.
So, the next time they see you at school, Reki asks you to join them for lunch on the roof, leading you up there. Nervous you stand near the door while Reki takes a breath. He first apologizes for jot calling or texting you, and Langa does the same. Langa then explains that he and Reki are a thing, and that they both like you.
"We both have a massive crush on you and we both want to be with you. Do you want both of us or just one of us?" Reki asks.
"I... I don't know what to day," you respond.
There's a tension in the air. The boys start to worry that they made you uncomfortable and feel like you're a homewrecker. Then, you take a breath and apologize for making things awkward before you say that, yes, you would be happy to date both of them. They both let out sighs of relief and Reki asks where you want you guy's first date to be.
"Umm... well if you two are free on Sunday, I'd like to go to have lunch with you two at the Italian place. Don't worry, I'll pay for it," you tell them.
"Oh, that sounds nice. But, don't worry about paying, I'll handle that," Reki says.
"But, Reki, you said you were bro-" Langa starts before Reki slaps a hand over his mouth.
You laugh at the scene and tell Reki that it's no issue for you to pay. He mumbles something about paying since they asked you, and you point out that technically you were the one to start this whole mess so that means you should pay. Reki nods slowly and takes his hand of Langa's mouth. You ask if they're ok with the plan and the two of them agree.
"Well, see you on Sunday!" You cheerfully say before leave the roof.
They just watch, both of them smiling at their cute new partner.
Hey! Everyone who's seen Witch Hat Atelier I have a thought (because I started the anime) what if there was a witch who for whatever reason is never actually associated with the Brimmed Hats or the Pointed Caps. Like, this is someone who is well versed in magic but instead of being tied to either group they just act independently and avoid both groups.
Hello I really like your platonic yandere twisted wonderland stuff. How would the cast react if they missed MC birthday because there were more important things (overblots and the events that led up to them) going on and they didn’t tell anyone because they thought that the others were more important. The only way the cast found out was because they mentioned it when the topic popped up.
Well, first of all they would never forget the birthday of their favorite little baby! But, lets say that due to important school stuff (Twisted Wonderland equivalent of the AP exams, finals, etc) that they forget completely on accident.
Cut to the next day at lunch with the first year gang and instead of eating the food they give you or food from the school cafeteria you're eating somewhat decent restaurant left overs.
"What's that?" Jack asks.
"Oh, it's leftovers from my dinner last night," you say.
"Who made it? It looks tasty," Deuce says.
"Oh, Mr. Trein took me to dinner last night," you tell them.
"That was nice of him. You know why?" Ace asks.
"He said it was his treat for me celebrating my birthday away from my world," you say.
The moment they hear that the hamsters that run each of their brains stop. Yesterday was your birthday, and they treated it like a normal day and completely ignored you! You must be so upset! You're not, you weren't really expecting anything from any of them, but int heir minds you spent yesterday crying your eyes out before drowning your sorrows in dinner and dessert with Mr. Trein. Once the day is over and they go back to their dorms they tell everyone what happened, everyone forgot your birthday.
So, each dorm starts planning a birthday party for that weekend while everyone goes and gets you gifts and cards and stuff they need to make things up to you for forgetting your birthday.
On the flip side the adults didn't forget your birthday. Professor Crewel had given you bags of clothes, Professor Trein took you to dinner, Vargas, trying his best, bought you groceries but mostly protein stuff while Sam gave you a 90% discount on stuff under the guise of a 40%-90% sale and you just got lucky. All the while Crowley gifts you a cloak like his and a card that says he appreciates you with all your missing allowance inside, in bills.

Once upon a time, there was a knight in the kingdom of Mondstadt. He was a memebr of the royal guard with the title of Sharpened Arrowhead and rank of Fifth Company vice captain. He was known by all to be a battle hardened warrior who kept a gleeful smile on his face no matter how tough and brutal the fight and yet, he never begged for glory and fame, it just came to him with each battle he won.
Once upon a time, there was a prince in the kingdom of Mondstadt. He was known for being kind and compassionate towards his citizens, but he was also known for being beautiful. In fact, he was said to be so beautiful that suitors of all genders and from every corner of the world clamored for his hand in marriage, from farmers to merchants, to nobles, to other kingdom's roaylty. Though, he never accepted any offer and thoe he considered would pull out.
That was due to the Sharpened Arrowhead, for he saw himself as the prince's personal protector and as such, he needed to chase away and remove those he felt were not good enough for the prince. He saw it as his duty not just as the prince's personal knight but as the fated future lover of said prince.
He had it all planned out:
Marry the prince
Take over more and more political affairs
Keep the prince out of the public eye and affairs
Have the prince hopelessly in love with him
That was the plan, and it was a simple one. However, as is often said "The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry" and oh did these plans go awry in almost every way. First of all, the prince fell in love with a suitor from a far off kingdom of Nod Karai, Princess Columbina, who then started making plans for the wedding at a fast pace under the guise of securing the alliance the marriage would bring. Lohen could only watch from the shadows, until one day Princess Columbina pushed Lohen out of his role as the personal bodygaurd of Mondstadt's prince, replacing him with one of her own guards, a man named Flins.
Lohen became enraged and wanted to kill both the princess and Flins, but if he did he would be executed. So, he just kept his anger deep, deep inside while he plotted for a way to get his prince back in his arms. It took a year, by once that year was over he was ready to put his plan into motion.
It was summer now, and the prince had decided to go on a boar hunt with some lords, and since Flins was "busy", in truth Lohen had learned of his fae nature and thus used iron to block his bedroom door, Lohen came along as the prince's personal guard. The hunt was not going well and before long the prince was seperated from the other nobles and alone with Lohen deep in the forest.
"Your highness, I think we should rest," Lohen suggested.
"You are right, Lohen," the prince said.
The pair dismounted and tied up their horses before sitting on a log. Lohen pulled out a flask and offered it to the prince, telling him the flask contained water, so the prince drank from it. But it wasn't water, it was a sleep tonic a forest mage taught him to make. The prince started to feel sleepy before fully falling asleep. Smiling, Lohen cut the prince's horse free before placing the prince on his horse and getting on himself after untying his horse. Once on the horse, Lohen rode deeper into the horse and towards a small cottage he had set up for the prince. Once there he walked inside and laid the prince on the bed, but not before tying the prince down and snapping a royal hound style collar around his neck.
"See you soon, my prince," he said, kissing the prince's forehead.
The prince would wake up hours later to Lohen standing over the bed. When he tried to move Lohen held a knife to his neck, telling him to stay down. The prince, afraid, did as Lohen said. Lohen smiled and looked down at the prince, then Lohen kissed him on the cheek before sitting on the bed. Lohen leaned closer to the prince's ear and softly told him that the cottage was his new home now and that if he ever tried to leave then Lohen would use his knife on the prince's lower back so his legs would never work again, maybe even cutting the achillies tendons to be extra sure the prince could never run. The prince didn't say anything as he was frozen in pure terror whiel Lohen was smiling like a demon.
At the same time, the nobles found the two horses without their riders. They searched the area before returning to the kingdom and telling Princess Coloumbina that both the prince and Lohen were missing. Worried she sent guards but no one could find anythign more then scraps of clothes covering in blood in the forest. So, the kingdom came to the grim conclusion that the pair had fallen from their horses, gotten lost, and were eaten by the local wolf packs. But only Lohen and the prince knew the truth, they're not in the stomachs of wolves, but instead in a small wooden cottage by a creek, deep in the forest and that is where the pair will stay forever, if Lohen has anythign to say about it.
Hi love your yandere twisted wonderland au I would like to ask what if you had a boyfriend.
No you don't. No. Stop fighting them on this you, the baby of the NRC family, do not have a boyfriend. He's in your old world? Well, he's not here now so they just pretend he don't exist. If you try and bring him up they'll shut that conversation down or just pretend you're talking nonsense.
Though, some people (Ace, Floyd, Jade, Leona, Sebek, Malleus, etc) might go the extra mile and try and remove any eveidence of this so called boyfriend from your life. After all, you're here now and since they'll make sure you never leave why do you need to worry about your old boyfriend.
