Yesterday as if by fate, I stumbled accross a poem by @letthethoughtsout that really inspired me. It was structured in the form of a diatelle and I couldn't help but attempt one of my own....here it is..my Love Diatelle... Love Complete I do teach Of subtle ways Never out of our reach A love growing in strength, each day Opening hearts, to feelings, gone astray Like dealings with angels, love's a gift from above Gentle and fragrant, like flowers of may Tulip kisses, sweet bouquets Love like a ripened peach The best of tastes Within reach Complete Love Daneille (ThaPoet) Louis ©February 11, 2020 A #diatelle is a form of poetry created by Bradley Vrooman It is a fun, syllable counting form similar to the etheree but with a twist. The syllable structure of a diatelle is as follows: 1/2/3/4/6/8/10/12/10/8/6/4/3/2/1. The difference between the etheree and diatelle is the set rhyme pattern/structure of abbcbccaccbcbba that governs the diatelle. A diatelle may be written on any subject matter and looks best center aligned in a diamond shape. https://www.instagram.com/p/B8cBf5NF5TL/?igshid=wmai0luyvhxs
