Invader ZIM: Mothboy Lives AU
The two boys are in high school, and things have changed. Zim and Dib are... friends now? and they explore forests and do research together... okay.
One day, out in the forest, they find a trail leading to the den of the elusive Mothman. Dib finally has proof of the existence of the paranormal, without having to sell out his... 'ally' (he's still unsure how he feels about Zim right now. They're on friendly terms though, er, he thinks). It's what he's always wanted.
Be careful what you wish for.
