There’s something purgatorial about the visitor’s lounge at Arkham Asylum.
‘Lounge’ isn’t a particularly accurate descriptor. There’s a bunch of circular, lightweight tables, and a bunch of plastic chairs. Yellowed linoleum. No vending machine or anything. Nothing even stuck to the walls; inmates aren’t allowed near thumb tacks. They’d only ever gone once or twice—when Jason was tiny, so it felt like digging memories out from under six feet of dirt—but he was pretty sure when his mom had taken him to see Willis in Blackgate it’d been nicer. Arkham is at worst horrific and at best fucking empty. The visitors lounge is on the empty end of the spectrum.

part 2
The real difference between Dick, Jason and Tim, is that Dick and Jason were adopted as Burce’s childeren, while Tim adopted Bruce as his dad.
